The company offers opportunities to learn retail, food service, and point-of-sale operations in a supportive setting.Role Description The Sales Cashier is a full-time, on-site role located at Oasis Bakery in Ajman. The person in this role processes customer purchases using the point-of-sale (POS) system, handles cash and card payments accurately, and provides receipts. Day-to-day tasks include greeting customers, answering basic product questions, maintaining a clean and organized counter area, and restocking display items as needed. The Sales Cashier also assists with monitoring inventory levels for front-of-house items, follows food safety and hygiene guidelines, and supports the team in delivering a positive customer experience. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required based on business needs.Qualifications Ability to operate POS systems, handle cash and card transactions, and perform basic math with a high degree of accuracy.Strong customer service skills, including clear communication, polite interaction, and a helpful attitude toward customers and colleagues.Attention to detail and reliability in following procedures, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.Organizational skills for managing queues, prioritizing tasks during busy periods, and keeping the checkout and display areas neat.Basic English communication skills; additional languages commonly spoken in Ajman are an advantage.Previous experience in retail, bakery, or food service cashier roles is preferred but not required.Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks such as lifting and moving product trays.High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
