Sales Coordinator (Tile Industry)

SALES COORDINATOR | TILE & SANITARYWARE | GEORGE📍 George | Full-time | Permanent | Market-related salaryGees Talent is looking for an experienced Sales Coordinator to join a well-established, premium tile and lifestyle business in George.Please note: Previous experience within the tile, sanitaryware or flooring industry is essential for this role.The OpportunityThis is no ordinary admin role.As Sales Coordinator, you’ll be the bridge between the sales team, customers, buying, warehouses, logistics and suppliers - making sure everything runs smoothly from quote to delivery.You’ll be the person who keeps the wheels turning, spots problems before they become problems, and makes sure nothing falls through the cracks.What You’ll Be Doing• Convert accepted quotations into Sales Orders• Verify customer information and maintain accurate customer profiles• Coordinate stock allocation and purchasing requirements• Liaise with sales consultants, buying, warehouse and logistics teams• Monitor outstanding Sales Orders and stock reservations• Follow up on outstanding payments where required• Ensure all documentation is accurate before invoicing• Assist with delivery coordination• Maintain accurate records and reporting• Ensure SOP compliance throughout the order processWhat We’re Looking For• 3+ years’ experience in sales coordination, internal sales, buying or a similar commercial role• Proven experience in the tile, sanitaryware or flooring industry – essential• Strong understanding of products, ordering, stock and customer service within the industry• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills• Strong Excel and ERP system experience• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail• Solution-oriented and able to manage pressure and deadlines• Calm, reliable and able to juggle multiple priorities• Experience with IQ Elite or a similar system is advantageousThe Right PersonYou’re someone who:✨ Takes ownership and follows things through✨ Notices the details because you know they matter✨ Communicates clearly, kindly and with urgency✨ Can manage multiple moving parts without becoming overwhelmed✨ Works well with different personalities and teams✨ Treats everyone with respect, from the warehouse floor to the boardroom✨ Enjoys being the person others can rely onIf you know the tile and sanitaryware industry, love keeping things organised and take pride in delivering an exceptional customer experience, this could be a great next step for you.The Details📍 Location: George💼 Employment: Full-time | Permanent💰 Salary: Market-related📅 Start Date: ASAPHow to ApplySend your CV to cvs@geestalent.com with the subject line:Sales Coordinator - Tile & Lifestyle Division Application - [Your Name]Please note: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
