Location: South Korea | Remote / Regional LeadershipType: Full-TimeExperience: 10+ YearsCompensation: Base + Performance/Profit ParticipationLanguages: Korean & EnglishRole OverviewA confidential global chemical trading and distribution company is seeking a Managing Director to lead sourcing, international sales, export operations, and commercial growth across South Korea and global markets.ResponsibilitiesLead chemical sourcing, trading, exports, and regional business development.Develop relationships with Korean chemical manufacturers, suppliers, and global buyers.Expand exports across North America, Europe, Japan, Southeast Asia, and other markets.Manage key customer relationships, pricing, contracts, and supply agreements.Oversee logistics, freight, shipping, customs, and supply chain activities.Build and lead a revenue-producing commercial team.Manage sales forecasts, margins, budgets, trade finance, and commercial risk.Requirements10+ years in chemical trading, distribution, manufacturing, or specialty chemicals.Strong international chemical export and sales experience.Established network within the Korean chemical industry.Proven track record of revenue generation and profitable trading.Knowledge of global supply chains, export logistics, and trade finance.Strong negotiation and commercial leadership skills.Professional fluency in Korean and English.Legally authorized to work in South Korea.
