Sales Engineer/ Estimator

Job Title: Sales Engineer/ EstimatorLocation: Santa Fe Springs, CA 90670Duration: FTESalary Range: $100k - $150k base salary with bonus and benefitsWe're looking for an experienced Sales Engineer / Estimator who can combine technical expertise with outstanding customer service.You'll work directly with customers to understand their needs, develop accurate estimates, and guide projects from the initial request for quotation through the successful handoff to Engineering and Manufacturing.This position works closely with Engineering, Purchasing, Fabrication, Assembly, Project Management, and executive leadership to help win profitable projects while delivering exceptional customer experiences.You'll be responsible for:Responding to Requests for Quotation (RFQs)Meeting with customers to understand project requirementsReviewing drawings and specificationsDeveloping complete cost estimates for labor, materials, subcontractors, and equipmentPreparing professional quotations and proposalsManaging multiple estimates and projects simultaneouslyThe ideal candidate will have:5+ years estimating custom industrial equipment or manufacturing projectsStrong blueprint reading and interpretation skillsExperience estimating tanks, piping, skids, pressure vessels, or custom process equipmentExperience developing Bills of Material and labor estimatesStrong understanding of manufacturing processes and fabrication methodsExperience reviewing vendor and subcontractor quotationsProficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams) for estimating, reporting, and communicationBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is a plusKnowledge of fabrication methods including welding, fitting, and cutting is a plusDexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions with over 12,000 employees and 70 locations worldwide.
