Our Client:We are partnering with a MNC that specializes in Mechanical Coating Solutions. The company is expanding their Malaysia operations and looking for a Sales Engineer as part of their strategic growth.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify, qualify, and secure project opportunities with engineering, tooling, and manufacturing clients across Northern Malaysia.Work closely with client engineering and production teams to understand component wear, friction, and corrosion challenges and recommend tailored coating solutions.Manage the full project sales cycle from initial inquiry, sample evaluation, technical testing, and commercial quotation through to contract award.Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers, including R&D, tooling engineers, production managers, and procurement teams.Coordinate with internal technical specialists and regional application teams to ensure smooth project delivery, quality verification, and post-sales support.Monitor industrial project pipelines, market trends, and competitor activities within the regional manufacturing sector.RequirementsDiploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related technical discipline.1 to 3 years of experience in project sales, technical sales, or application engineering dealing with mechanical products, surface treatments, precision tooling, cutting tools, or industrial wear components.Understanding of manufacturing processes, heat treatment, surface finishing, or material wear mechanisms.Demonstrated ability to manage longer sales cycles, perform technical presentations, and conduct value-proposition selling.How to apply:To apply online, please click on the appropriate link.
