Sales Engineer – Steel Fabrication & Welding Industry

Role Description: We are urgently seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Sales Engineer to join our new branch team in Sharjah, within 1–2 weeks. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of steel fabrication and welding processes combined with excellent sales and client relationship skills to help grow our business across the UAE market.Key Responsibilities:Identify and develop new business opportunities in steel fabrication, welding, and metal worksBuild and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, and industrial clientsPrepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and tendersUnderstand client requirements and coordinate with the production/fabrication team for feasibilityVisit project sites to assess scope of work and specificationsNegotiate contracts and close sales dealsFollow up on payments and ensure client satisfaction post-deliveryAchieve monthly/quarterly sales targetsMaintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and client communicationsRequirements:Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Civil Engineering or related field (preferred)Minimum 2–3 years of sales experience in steel fabrication, structural steel, or the metal industry (UAE experience preferred)Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with CAD drawings or fabrication-related software is beneficial.Ability to work on-site, conduct field visits, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines and sales targets.Strong technical knowledge of welding, fabrication processes, and steel structuresExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsValid UAE driving license preferredAbility to read technical drawings and specificationsFluent in English (Arabic/Hindi is an added advantage)Urgent requirement — candidates who can join within 1–2 weeks will be given priority.
