We are looking for a motivated and friendly Retail Counter Staff member to join our team, helping to create a welcoming environment and ensuring a seamless experience for our customers.Key Responsibilities:1. Customer ServiceGreet customers warmly and assist them with the drop-off and pick-up of laundry items.Address customer inquiries, assess their needs, and provide solutions to meet their requirements.Promote our services to customers, encouraging upsells and additional services where appropriate.Strive to increase 5-star Google reviews and overall customer satisfaction.2. Operations and SalesReceive and process payments accurately for laundry services.Sort and inspect incoming laundry items to ensure quality standards are met.Increase overall shop sales by providing personalised service and upselling relevant products and services.Gather customer feedback for improvement and communicate it with the operations team.3. Shop MaintenanceMaintain a clean, organized, and well-presented workspace to enhance the customer experience.Handle minor repairs and take necessary actions to prevent damage to items.Report any potential security issues or store-related concerns to management promptly.4. Store ProceduresAssist with opening and closing procedures, ensuring the store is prepared for daily operations.Take responsibility for problem-solving and resolving any issues that arise at the counter.Requirements:Proven experience in retail or customer service, preferably in the fashion or laundry sector.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A proactive approach to meeting customer needs and providing quality service.Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Basic knowledge of payment processing and cash handling and POS software
