Position Title: Sales Lead – Offline Initiatives
The role will own the complete sales journey, from field prospecting and relationship building to discovery, demonstrations, proposals, negotiations, closing, customer handover, and account expansion.This is a zero-to-one sales leadership role focused on building a strong network of enterprise, MSME, institutional, and partner relationships while creating a repeatable and scalable offline sales system.
Key Responsibilities
Build and manage the offline sales process through target accounts, field visits, introductions, referrals, meetings, follow-ups, and relationship-building activities across Kathmandu and key cities in Nepal.Develop and manage sales opportunities across B2B, enterprise, and MSME accounts, including understanding customer workflows, identifying use cases, conducting discovery, and converting decision-makers into customers.Build institutional and partnership opportunities with colleges, universities, training institutions, associations, research organizations, nonprofits, and public-sector organizations.Develop partner channels through consultants, trainers, agencies, resellers, and other relevant networks.Conduct engaging product demonstrations, workshops, masterclasses, events, and field activations in collaboration with Marketing, Product, and Training teams.Own opportunities from qualification through proposals, commercial discussions, negotiations, objection handling, closing, and documentation.Maintain strong CRM discipline, pipeline visibility, forecasting, opportunity tracking, next steps, and close-date management.Work closely with Customer Success to ensure complete customer handover and capture feedback that improves sales messaging, product education, and localized workflows.Coach and support the assigned Sales Officer on prospecting, qualification, demonstrations, proposals, follow-up, and CRM discipline.Turn successful sales approaches, customer insights.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications, Management, or a related field; Master’s/MBA is preferred.3–6 years of experience in B2B, enterprise, institutional, field, consultative sales, or a similar commercial role.At least 1 year of experience owning a territory, account portfolio, channel, or sales program end-to-end.Proven experience in prospecting, discovery, product demonstrations, proposals, negotiations, relationship management, and closing.Experience working with enterprise, MSME, institutional, or partner accounts will be an advantage.Strong written and spoken English and Nepali communication skills with excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.Core Competencies:Strong relationship-building, consultative selling, negotiation, and closing skills.High ownership with the ability to build a sales territory and pipeline from the ground up.Strong commercial curiosity and ability to explain an AI-powered product in simple business terms.Persistence, resilience, follow-through, and ability to manage longer sales cycles and procurement processes.Strong coaching, collaboration, problem-solving, and customer-management skills.Willingness to learn and use AI tools and technology to improve sales processes.Travel & Work Setup:Approximately 40–50% travel across Nepal during field-sales, workshops, and account-development cycles.Evening or weekend work may occasionally be required for customer meetings and events.Willingness to travel internationally, including to India and selected global markets, when required.Must have a reliable laptop, smartphone, dependable internet, independent transportation, and a valid driving licence.A valid passport or willingness to obtain one is required.
