قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجWe are partnering with an established international chemical trading and distribution business looking to hire a Sales Manager for its Houston operation.This is a hands-on commercial position combining new business development with management and growth of existing customer relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing opportunities across a broad portfolio of chemical products, working with customers, suppliers and internal teams to manage the commercial process from initial opportunity through to delivery.The position offers significant exposure to international markets and supply chains, with the backing of an established global organization.ResponsibilitiesIdentify, develop and secure new business opportunities across the U.S. chemicals market.Manage and grow relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities to expand product and account penetration.Develop relationships with chemical producers, suppliers, distributors and end users.Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with customers and suppliers.Monitor market conditions, pricing, supply/demand dynamics and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams around inventory, imports, transportation and customer deliveries.Develop sales forecasts, account plans and commercial strategies for assigned products and markets.Work closely with international colleagues and suppliers to identify products and opportunities for the North American market.Experience5+ years of sales, business development, account management or trading experience within the chemical industry.Experience working for a chemical producer, distributor or trading organization.Proven ability to develop new business and manage commercial customer relationships.Understanding of chemical pricing, supply chains and commercial negotiations.Exposure to international trade, imports/exports or chemical distribution would be advantageous.Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.Bachelor's degree preferred.The OpportunityJoin an established global organization with significant international infrastructure and resources.Manage existing business while having the autonomy to develop new customers, products and markets.Exposure to a broad range of chemical products, customers and end markets.Opportunity to develop international supplier and customer relationships.Long-term career development within a growing Houston operation.
