Apply & track with Apply EdgeRole Overview:The Marketing Institute of Singapore (MIS) is looking for a driven and hands-on Sales Manager to lead sales activities for our education, executive-development and corporate-training programmes.In this role, you will manage the sales pipeline, develop new individual and corporate accounts, coach the sales team and build meaningful relationships with learners, organisations and industry partners.We are looking for someone who enjoys both leading a team and being directly involved in business development. You should be comfortable setting targets, pursuing opportunities and turning client needs into suitable learning and development solutions.Sales Growth and Business DevelopmentDevelop and implement sales plans to achieve individual and team revenue targets.Identify and pursue new B2C and B2B business opportunities.Promote MIS academic programmes, executive-development courses and corporate-training solutions.Generate leads through outreach, referrals, networking, events and industry partnerships.Conduct consultations with prospective learners and corporate clients.Understand client requirements and recommend appropriate programmes or training solutions.Prepare proposals, presentations and follow-up communications.Monitor market developments, competitor activities and potential growth opportunities.Team Leadership and PerformanceLead, coach and support the sales team in achieving individual and collective targets.Set clear performance expectations and monitor sales activities and results.Conduct regular pipeline reviews, coaching sessions and performance discussions.Support the team in handling complex enquiries and closing suitable opportunities.Identify capability gaps and provide practical sales guidance and training.Promote accountability, collaboration and consistent customer service within the team.Sales Operations and ReportingMaintain an accurate and updated sales pipeline using the designated CRM or tracking system.Monitor lead conversion, follow-up activities and sales performance.Prepare sales forecasts, reports and performance updates for management.Work with the marketing and programme teams on campaigns, lead-generation activities and customer engagement.Ensure that sales representations and programme information provided to customers are accurate and appropriate.Client and Industry EngagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, learners, partners and stakeholders.Represent MIS professionally at networking sessions, exhibitions, conferences and industry events.Support selected local and overseas business engagements when required.Maintain effective post-sale relationships to encourage repeat business, referrals and long-term partnerships.Job Requirements:Diploma or degree in any discipline.At least three years of relevant sales or business-development experience.Prior experience leading, coaching or supervising a sales team would be advantageous.Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and develop new business opportunities.Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-management skills.Comfortable with both B2C and B2B sales activities.Hands-on, results-oriented and accountable for follow-through.Able to monitor pipelines, prepare forecasts and interpret sales-performance data.Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Office and other sales-productivity tools.Experience in education, training, professional development or solution selling would be advantageous.Willing to attend occasional evening or weekend events and undertake business travel when required.Remuneration and BenefitsMonthly basic salary of S$3,200–S$4,000, commensurate with relevant experience.Commission based on the applicable company commission scheme and achievement of sales results.Performance-based bonus, subject to individual and organisational performance.Medical and wellness benefits.Professional-development and career-growth opportunities.Exposure to corporate clients, industry partners and the professional education sector.If you are a hands-on sales leader who enjoys developing people, building relationships and creating business opportunities, we welcome your application.
