Sales Manager

Role Description The Director role is a full-time, on-site position based in Tamil Nadu, India. The Director will oversee the strategic direction of the forum, shape the content and conversation themes, and ensure alignment with the organization’s mission of promoting transparent, inclusive dialogue. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams, guiding program development, managing partnerships and stakeholder relationships, and overseeing operational and financial planning. The Director will also represent the organization at events, moderate or support key discussions, and maintain high standards for ethical, respectful engagement on sensitive topics. This role requires consistent on-site collaboration with team members and local partners.QualificationsStrong leadership, team management, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to guide diverse groups toward shared goals.Experience in strategy development, program or project management, and organizational planning within social impact, media, or community-focused initiatives.Excellent communication skills, including facilitation, public speaking, and conflict-sensitive dialogue, with a commitment to gender-neutral, non-discriminatory practices.Background in areas such as sociology, communications, psychology, social work, or related fields; advanced degree or significant relevant experience is an advantage.Proven ability to work with sensitive topics, maintain confidentiality where required, and foster safe spaces for open, honest conversations.Strong analytical and decision-making skills, including the ability to evaluate initiatives, measure impact, and adjust strategies accordingly.Familiarity with diversity, equity, and inclusion principles, and experience working with communities across different cultures and identities.Comfort with basic digital tools and platforms used for content distribution, community engagement, and event coordination.
