Sales Manager

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager with a strong background in freight forwarding, particularly air freight, and hands-on experience working within Dubai Airport Free Zone (DAFZA).The candidate will be responsible for developing new business, managing key accounts, generating sales opportunities, and expanding the company's customer base in the UAE and international markets.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute sales strategies for freight forwarding and logistics services.Generate new business and actively develop a strong customer pipeline.Sell air freight, sea freight, road freight, customs clearance, warehousing, and related logistics services.Maintain and develop relationships with existing key accounts.Prepare commercial proposals and negotiate rates and service agreements.Coordinate with the Pricing and Operations teams to provide competitive solutions.Identify new trade lanes, industries, and business opportunities.Conduct regular client meetings and sales visits.Monitor market trends and competitor activities.Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.Maintain accurate sales reports, pipelines, and customer follow-ups.Mandatory RequirementsMinimum 7 years of sales experience in freight forwarding/logistics in the UAE.Strong air freight experience is mandatory.Previous DAFZA experience is mandatory.Existing knowledge of the Dubai/UAE logistics market.Proven track record of acquiring new customers and generating revenue.Good understanding of freight rates, Incoterms, customs procedures, and international shipping.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.Existing customer network in the UAE logistics market is a strong advantage.Fluent English required; additional languages are an advantage.Preferred ExperienceCandidates with experience handling electronics, mobile phones, high-value cargo, e-commerce, or time-critical air freight shipments will be given preference.Experience:Logistics: 7 years (Required)Dubai Airport Free Zone: 5 years (Required)Air Freight: 7 years (Required)Work Location: In person
