Team members join a collaborative environment where passion for travel, operational excellence, and client satisfaction are central values.Job Summary The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales team and driving revenue growth by developing and executing sales strategies, managing key client relationships, and achieving departmental sales targets. The role oversees the sales pipeline, forecasting, business development, account management, and overall sales performance. The Sales Manager provides direction and support to the sales team, monitors individual and team performance, develops key business opportunities, and works closely with other departments to ensure effective service delivery and achievement of the company's commercial objectives. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targetsLead, manage, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and departmental sales objectivesSet sales targets, objectives, and performance expectations for team members in alignment with company goalsMonitor individual and team sales performance and take appropriate action to address performance gapsManage and continuously review the sales pipeline, ensuring opportunities are properly qualified, followed up, and progressed toward closurePrepare and maintain accurate sales forecasts and provide regular updates to the Director of SalesIdentify and develop new business opportunities through market research, prospecting, networking, referrals, partnerships, and other business development activitiesDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic accountsOversee account development strategies to increase customer retention, revenue, cross-selling, and upselling opportunitiesLead negotiations with major clients regarding pricing, commercial terms, contracts, and service agreements within approved authority levelsReview and approve sales proposals, quotations, and commercial offers within delegated authorityEnsure sales activities and commercial agreements are aligned with company pricing policies, approval matrices, profitability requirements, and business objectivesMonitor market trends, competitor activities, customer behavior, and industry developments to identify business opportunities and potential risksProvide management with market intelligence, sales insights, and recommendations to support commercial decision-makingConduct regular sales meetings and performance reviews with the teamCoach, mentor, and develop Sales Executives and Assistant Sales Managers to improve sales capabilities and performanceReview sales activity levels, conversion rates, account performance, revenue contribution, and other relevant sales KPIsEnsure accurate and timely CRM updates, sales reports, pipeline data, and forecasting informationManage escalated client issues and ensure timely resolution in coordination with the relevant departmentsWork closely with Operations, Reservations, MICE, Finance, Marketing, and other departments to ensure successful delivery of client requirementsCollaborate with Marketing to support campaigns, promotions, trade shows, exhibitions, networking events, and lead-generation initiativesIdentify opportunities to improve sales processes, customer experience, team productivity, and revenue performanceMonitor sales expenses and ensure activities are conducted within approved budgets and company policiesSupport recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and development of sales team membersParticipate in the preparation of departmental budgets, business plans, sales targets, and commercial forecastsRepresent the company in important client meetings, industry events, exhibitions, and business networking activitiesEnsure complete and accurate documentation of contracts, proposals, client records, and sales transactionsEnsure compliance with company policies, SOPs, approval matrices, pricing guidelines, and applicable proceduresPrepare regular sales performance reports and management updates as requiredSupport the Director of Sales in strategic commercial initiatives and other business development projectsPerform other sales-related duties as assigned by the Director of SalesQualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field4–6 years of progressive sales experience, preferably in travel, tourism, hospitality, corporate travel, or a related industryProven experience managing a sales team and achieving departmental sales targetsStrong track record in business development, key account management, and revenue generationStrong knowledge of sales strategy, pipeline management, forecasting, account management, and commercial negotiationsStrong leadership, communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skillsStrong analytical and commercial decision-making abilitiesAbility to set priorities, manage multiple objectives, and work effectively under pressureStrong coaching, mentoring, and performance-management skillsProficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPointStrong organizational and time-management skillsValid driver’s licenseMust have a carEqual Opportunity Employment At Guarantee Travel, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
