Nepali Ghar Hotel is committed to setting new standards of excellence while meeting the diverse needs of its guests.Role Description The Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Nepali Ghar Hotel in Kathmandu. This position is responsible for driving room and event revenue by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing existing accounts, and building strong relationships with corporate, travel, and group clients. Daily tasks include planning and executing sales strategies, conducting sales calls and site visits, preparing proposals and contracts, and coordinating with the reservations, front office, and F&B teams to deliver seamless guest experiences. The Sales Manager will monitor market trends, analyze performance reports, manage online and offline distribution channels, and collaborate on promotional campaigns in alignment with the hotel’s brand and cultural values. The role also involves representing the hotel at industry events, ensuring high standards of service, and contributing ideas to enhance guest satisfaction and long-term loyalty.Qualifications Proven experience in hotel or hospitality sales management, with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.Strong relationship-building and client management skills, including handling corporate, travel trade, and group business accounts.Solid communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the capacity to interact confidently with diverse stakeholders.Ability to analyze sales data, prepare reports, forecast revenue, and make data-informed decisions.Familiarity with hotel distribution channels, reservation systems, and basic digital marketing concepts related to hotel sales.Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and follow-through.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and maintain a guest-centric, service-focused approach.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.Knowledge of the local Kathmandu market and regional tourism trends is an advantage.Comfort working in a multicultural environment and genuine interest in Nepalese culture and hospitality.
