This position is based in Prague and is part of our Central & Eastern Europe (CEE) operations. The team operates in a regulated market environment and collaborates closely with international colleagues on portfolio development and partner engagement.MissionThe Sales Manager is responsible for leading, developing and motivating the sales team to achieve sustainable business growth and sales objectives in the Czech Republic. The role ensures excellent execution of commercial strategies, customer engagement and market development while maintaining full compliance with applicable regulations, company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).The Sales Manager acts as a key business partner contributing to the company's success through effective leadership, customer focus and data-driven decision makingResponsibilitiesLEADING THE TEAMRecruiting new Representatives in order to build a highly qualified and motivated team.Developing, motivating and managing Representatives (activity plans, double sales calls, expenditures, data collection and performance monitoring).Territory management: selecting customers, target group coverage, monthly call rates, key prescriber development and overall regional performance.Organizing, motivating and leading the sales team in order to achieve sales objectives.Conducting regular performance reviews and development discussions.Setting clear objectives and monitoring achievement.Providing coaching and field support to improve sales effectiveness.Identifying training and development needs.Managing succession planning and talent development.Implementing performance improvement plans when required.DRIVING BUSINESS IN THE REGIONSetting targets, reallocating costs and adjusting activity plans in order to ensure profitable growth.Planning, analysing and presenting sales results, expenditures and sales support activities.Preparing accurate sales forecasts and identifying business opportunities and risks.Monitoring sales trends, market dynamics and competitor activities.Ensuring achievement of sales, market share and profitability objectives.Supporting implementation of new product launches and commercial initiatives.Maximizing territory coverage and sales force effectiveness.Active communication and management of key customers.Representing the organization and product portfolio to create business relationships with partners and stakeholders.IMPLEMENTATION OF MARKETING ACTIVITIESPreparing and managing customer and sales force events.Participating in preparation and ensuring effective implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns in the field.Cooperating in the organization of congresses and conferences supporting sales growth and company image.Ensuring alignment between sales and marketing activities.CRM AND SALES ANALYTICSEnsuring effective use of CRM systems across the sales organization.Defining and analysing regular outputs for Representatives and Managers.Monitoring CRM data quality and compliance.Tracking sales performance and customer engagement metrics.Connecting CRM activities with ongoing business projects.Providing business insights and recommendations based on CRM and sales data.Driving CRM adoption and best practices within the sales team.Continuously improving CRM functionality and reporting capabilities.BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS WITH CUSTOMERSBuilding, maintaining and developing relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and other strategic customers.Managing relationships with pharmacies, pharmacy chains and wholesalers.Ensuring excellent customer service and customer satisfaction.Maintaining effective cooperation with Product Managers, Finance, Logistics and other internal stakeholders.COMPLIANCE Ensuring all commercial and promotional activities comply with local legislation, company policies and industry codes.Ensuring adherence to internal procedures and SOPs.Supporting internal and external audits when required.Maintaining high ethical standards in all business activities.Promptly reporting compliance-related concerns.QualificationsUniversity degree in Business Administration, Economics, Pharmacy, Life Sciences or related field.Good command of English (written and spoken).Valid driving licence.Minimum 8 years of pharmaceutical sales experience.Minimum 5 years of people management experience.Why join us?At Farmak International, you will have the opportunity to lead a high-performing team, shape commercial strategy in a key European market, and contribute to the growth of a dynamic international pharmaceutical company.
