Apply & track with Apply EdgeRole OverviewThe Sales Manager leads DADCO's commercial growth strategy, drives revenue and expands market share across the Kingdom for the company's portfolio of waterproofing and thermal insulation systems, bitumen and asphalt products, geotextiles, and powder-mix building materials, serving the contracting, infrastructure and mega-project sectors.The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with extensive relationships across the contracting and infrastructure sectors, real estate developers and consultants, able to manage several geographic regions at once and perform effectively under pressure from targets and deadlines.Overall Purpose of the Job: To lead the sales team in achieving and exceeding the company's annual sales targets, and to expand the market share of DADCO products in the contracting, construction and mega-project sectors across the Kingdom.Main Duties and Responsibilities1. Sales Strategy and Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute short- and long-term annual sales strategies, and prepare budgets and forecasting plans, in line with the company's vision to achieve and exceed revenue and profitability targets.
- Identify major commercial, infrastructure and mega-projects across the Kingdom that require waterproofing and thermal insulation systems, geotextiles
- Expand DADCO's presence in key regional markets by identifying new distribution channels, key accounts and strategic market segments.2. Multi-Region Geographic Management
- Manage sales in several regions of the Kingdom simultaneously, and set a coverage plan for each region that includes targets, key accounts and resources.
- Allocate team members and resources across regions according to the size of opportunities and projects, and monitor and compare the performance of each region.
- Conduct regular field visits to regions, customers and projects, and coordinate with the approved distributors in each region.
- Ensure consistent pricing policies, service quality and execution standards across all regions.3. Customer Relations and Business Development (B2B)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including major contracting companies, general contractors, specifiers, structural consulting offices, developers and approved distributors.
- Lead high-stakes commercial negotiations, tenders and pricing strategies in line with corporate objectives, and close supply contracts for major projects.4. Leadership and Team Management
- Lead, guide and coach the field and inside sales teams, and directly supervise sales representatives to improve deal conversion rates.
- Set clear key performance indicators (KPIs), targets and accountability standards, monitor performance, and motivate the team in a high-pressure work environment.
- Strengthen cross-department collaboration with the quality control, manufacturing to ensure timely order fulfilment and customer satisfaction.
- Hold regular sales pipeline reviews and market intelligence updates with the team.5. Market Intelligence and Product Positioning
- Continuously study the market and monitor construction-sector trends, competitor activity and pricing pressures, and identify opportunities and threats.
- Follow regulatory changes (such as the Saudi Building Code and sustainability standards) and approved insulation specifications within the petrochemical and building materials sector.
- Pass market insights to executive management and the R&D teams to support product adjustments and innovation.6. Cash Flow and Collections
- Coordinate with the Finance Department to ensure compliance with credit policies and collection of customer and project receivables on schedule.7. Periodic Reporting
- Submit weekly and monthly reports to senior management covering sales achieved by region, future forecasts and sales team performance.Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related technical/commercial field (engineering is preferred given the technical nature of the products).Work experience:– At least6 to 10 years in sales of building materials, waterproofing and thermal insulation, or petrochemical manufacturing in Saudi Arabia.– At least 3 to 5 years in a leadership or managerial role supervising a sales team.– Previous experience managing sales within the Saudi Kingdom.
- Industry and technical knowledge: Deep technical and commercial understanding of waterproofing membranes, bitumen , thermal insulation, as well as construction project requirements and the approved insulation specifications in the Saudi Building Code.
- Professional network: Well-established relationships with contractors, consultants and developers across the regions of the Kingdom (a strong advantage).
- Legal requirement: A valid Saudi driving licence.
- Travel readiness: Willingness to travel frequently between regions of the Kingdom according to business needs.Required Skills and Competencies
- Exceptional negotiation and persuasion skills to close large deals and supply contracts.
- Strong leadership abilities in managing, guiding and motivating the sales staff.
- Ability to work under pressure: Perform effectively under pressure from sales targets, deadlines and complex negotiations, and make sound decisions in critical situations.
- Priority management: Time organisation, multitasking, and managing several regions, teams and projects at once.
- Strategic planning and strong commercial acumen, with a proven record of achieving sales targets
- Data analysis skills to read market trends and prepare accurate sales forecasts.
- Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) systems and Odoo.
- Fluency in both Arabic and EnglishThe Real Nature of the Job
- High pressure: Targets are tough, deadlines are tight, and negotiations are complex. You will need to stay calm and make sound decisions when any deal or customer is at risk.
- Multiple tasks at once: You will balance several regions, teams and projects in parallel, so prioritisation is a daily necessity.
- Heavy travel: Frequent travel between regions is a core part of the role, which requires a valid Saudi driving licence.
- Technical and commercial: You will discuss technical specifications and Saudi Building Code requirements as easily as prices and payment terms.
