This role oversees daily sales floor operations, including supervising sales associates, setting priorities, and ensuring service standards are consistently met. The Sales Manager coaches and motivates the team to achieve individual and store sales goals, supports product knowledge training, and reinforces effective selling and customer engagement techniques. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring key performance metrics, managing staffing and scheduling needs, partnering with alterations and customer service teams, and resolving customer issues in a professional and timely manner. The Sales Manager also contributes to visual merchandising execution, promotes company programs and events, and supports a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment.Qualifications Demonstrated leadership and people-management skills, including team coaching, performance feedback, and conflict resolution.Strong sales and customer service abilities, with experience driving sales goals and delivering high-quality in-person service.Retail or specialty store experience, preferably in apparel, bridal, or formalwear, with familiarity in visual merchandising and store operations.Solid communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with customers and collaborate effectively with team members and management.Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities, staffing needs, and daily operational tasks.Comfort with basic technology and point-of-sale systems, along with the ability to learn company tools and processes quickly.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and peak seasons, as required for retail operations.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, retail management, or related fields is a plus.Experience creating an inclusive environment and serving diverse customers with respect and professionalism.
