Apply & track with Apply EdgeSALES MANAGER – LEISURE WHOLESALE & INTERNATIONAL MARKETSHotel: The Dubai EDITION Location: Dubai, UAEPOSITION SUMMARYThe Sales Manager – Leisure Wholesale & International Markets will be responsible for driving leisure business and international market growth for The Dubai EDITION through strategic partnerships with travel wholesalers, tour operators, Destination Management Companies (DMCs), travel agencies and international travel trade partners.The role will focus on developing new international business opportunities, strengthening existing leisure accounts, increasing room-night production and positioning the hotel as a preferred luxury lifestyle destination across key international markets including Europe, the Americas, CIS Countries, Latin America, GCC, India & South Asia, Southeast Asia, China, Australia & New Zealand, Africa and the Rest of the World.The candidate should have strong exposure to international leisure markets and established business relationships with wholesalers, tour operators, DMCs, travel agencies and other travel trade partners across these markets.The successful candidate will combine strong hotel sales expertise, international leisure market knowledge, travel-trade relationships, negotiation skills and commercial acumen to achieve revenue and occupancy objectives.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESLeisure Wholesale & Travel Trade SalesInternational Market DevelopmentDevelop and execute sales strategies for assigned international leisure markets.Identify emerging source markets and opportunities for business growth.Maintain strong knowledge of market trends, customer preferences, competitor activity, airline connectivity, travel patterns and destination developments.Represent the hotel at international travel trade events, exhibitions, roadshows, workshops and sales missions.Conduct overseas sales trips and market visits when required.Work closely with tourism boards, airlines, DMCs, tour operators and strategic travel partners to generate business.Revenue & Commercial PerformanceAchieve agreed room-night, revenue, ADR and account production targets.Monitor account performance, booking patterns, market trends and competitor activity.Work closely with the Revenue Management team on pricing, promotions, availability, restrictions and tactical opportunities.Ensure contracted rates and promotions deliver profitable business for the hotel.Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, production analysis and market performance updates.Identify opportunities to maximize revenue during need periods and shoulder seasons.Account ManagementMaintain regular communication with key accounts and conduct structured account reviews.Develop long-term partnerships with high-value international clients.Resolve commercial or operational issues professionally and promptly.Maintain accurate records of account activities, contracts, production, opportunities and sales pipeline through the hotel's CRM system.Build strong internal relationships with Reservations, Revenue Management, Front Office, Events, Marketing and Finance teams.REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.Minimum 3–5 years of relevant hotel sales experience, preferably in a luxury or upscale hotel environment.Strong experience in Leisure Wholesale, Tour Operators, DMCs, Travel Trade and international markets.Established relationships with international leisure partners and travel trade accounts will be highly advantageous.Experience in international sales trips, roadshows, trade shows and travel trade events.Strong negotiation, presentation, networking and account-management skills.Excellent understanding of hotel commercial operations, distribution channels, contracting and revenue principles.Strong knowledge of international leisure markets and travel trends.Working knowledge of OPERA PMS is required.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Ability and willingness to travel internationally as required.
