Our global scale, support and inclusive culture give you the opportunity to build a unique career.About the RoleThe Sales Manager - Oil & GasIs responsible for growing Mr. Marine's business by offering our range of products and services to existing and new customers.A key objective is to support our expansion in the Oil & Gas business. Using your experience in the maritime industry, you will identify sales and cross-sales opportunities across your portfolio and develop new business.Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will focus on achieving sales targets, developing customer relationships and contributing to the overall sales strategy.Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a sales and business development plan aligned with company goals.
• Identify potential customers, generate new business leads and expand the customer base.
• Increase requests for quotations (RFQs) by actively promoting our products and services.
• Develop and grow a sustainable customer portfolio.
• Manage your sales pipeline with a disciplined approach.
• Use consultative selling to identify customer needs and recommend solutions from our portfolio (elevator services, ballast and instruments & controls).
• Conduct market and competitor research to identify opportunities and industry trends.
• Plan and conduct regular customer meetings and report results and next steps to the team and management.
• Travel to visit customers, including specifically to West Africa.
• Collaborate with marketing, operations, technical and finance teams to ensure a cohesive approach to sales and customer service.
• Effectively hand over closed-won opportunities to operations and finance.
• Monitor sales activities, track performance metrics and prepare accurate sales reports.
• Respond to sales leads and key correspondence within identified timelines.
• Address sales support challenges and assist in resolving commercial issues and changes.
• Organise, evaluate and present information effectively.
• Interpret rules and regulations relevant to the business.Qualifications
• High level education.
• Experience in a service-oriented environment (Maritime, Engineering, Procurement or Construction).
• Minimum 5-7 years Sales and/or Account Management experience in the Oil & Gas industry, specifically for marine services.
• Proven track record in sales, business development or key account management within the marine equipment industry.
• Experience in a technical environment is considered a plus.Skills and Abilities
