The Sales Officer is responsible for managing daily sales activities, building and maintaining relationships with distributors, retailers, and other channel partners, and ensuring product availability in assigned territories. The role includes identifying new business opportunities, generating and qualifying leads, tracking sales performance, and preparing regular sales reports. The Sales Officer will handle customer inquiries, support order processing, coordinate with internal teams for timely delivery, and provide feedback from the market to improve products and promotions. The position also involves participating in local marketing initiatives, monitoring competitor activity, and meeting sales targets while upholding the company’s standards for service and quality.scale of pay = 18k-24k based on experience + expence + insensitive Qualifications Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Communication abilities.Proven experience in Sales Operations and Channel Sales within FMCG or related sectors.Ability to drive business growth through effective Lead Generation and follow-up.Comfort with basic sales reporting, use of spreadsheets or CRM tools, and territory management.Good knowledge of the local market in Kerala, preferably with experience in Devikulam or nearby regions.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work setup.Minimum of a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.Fluency in English and Malayalam, with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
