Sales Promoter – Sharjah Duty Free | Food & ConfectioneryLocation: Sharjah International Airport, UAEEmployment Type: Full-time, On-siteAbout the GroupKreol Group is a UAE-based consumer goods organisation specialising in channel-focused distribution, brand development and retail operations across the GCC, greater Middle East/West Asia, Africa and the Indian subcontinent.Our businesses operate across travel retail, modern trade and e-commerce, supported by capabilities in logistics, warehousing, merchandising, marketing and retail management.About the DivisionKreol Travel Retail is a multi-category distributor serving airport duty-free operators and other travel retail channels across the Middle East, Africa and the Indian subcontinent.Our portfolio includes international and regional brands across food & confectionery, fragrances, personal care, travel accessories and more.About the RoleWe are looking for an energetic and commercially driven Brand Ambassador dedicated to our Food & Confectionery portfolio at Sharjah Duty Free.You will represent our brands directly on the shop floor, engage international travellers, recommend products, drive conversion and help maximise sales from the allocated portfolio.Beyond selling, you will act as our eyes and ears at the store; monitoring product availability, merchandising, shopper feedback, competitor activity and sales performance while maintaining a strong working relationship with the duty-free retail team.What You’ll Do* Actively approach and engage travellers to introduce and recommend products from our Food & Confectionery portfolio.* Drive daily sales through product knowledge, sampling, upselling and cross-selling.* Develop strong knowledge of each brand, its products, flavours, selling points and promotions.* Ensure products are properly displayed, priced, replenished and presented in accordance with agreed merchandising standards.* Monitor stock availability on the shop floor and immediately highlight low-stock or out-of-stock situations.* Support product sampling, promotions, launches and other in-store activations.* Track sales performance against targets and provide regular feedback on shopper behaviour and product performance.* Gather feedback on customer preferences, frequently asked questions and reasons for purchase or non-purchase.* Monitor competitor products, pricing, promotions and activity within the category.* Maintain a positive working relationship with Sharjah Duty Free store teams and supervisors.* Provide regular updates, photographs and reports on merchandising, stock availability and promotional execution.* Represent our brands professionally and ensure an excellent customer experience at all times.Who You Should Be* Previous experience as a Sales Promoter, Brand Ambassador, Retail Sales Associate or Beauty/FMCG Promoter is preferred.* Experience in food, confectionery, FMCG, duty free, airport retail or high-footfall retail is an advantage.* Confident approaching customers and initiating sales conversations.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a sales-oriented personality.* Comfortable working towards individual and brand sales targets.* Well-presented, energetic and comfortable interacting with travellers from different nationalities.* Able to learn product information quickly and communicate it clearly to customers.* Comfortable working within airport retail operating hours and shift schedules.* Able to commute reliably to Sharjah International Airport.
