Sales Representative

Our client is a well established, respected Australian storage solutions company with 40+ years' experience engineering storage systems for some of the country's most recognisable retail and industrial brands. They're now expanding into large format retail (home goods, multi-store chains), and need a Sales Representative to make it theirs.This isn't a role where you're chasing cold leads on your own. The Business Development Manager sources the first project and gets you in the room, your job is to close it, own it, and grow it into a long term account. Full autonomy over the Australia/NZ large format retail patch, backed by an established brand with a strong track record behind you.Responsibilities:Taking ownership of newly won accounts and running them end-to-end, from onboarding through to repeat business.Building genuine relationships with retail project managers and decision makers, becoming their go to for stockroom and storage solutions.Spotting upsell and cross-sell opportunities to grow revenue within your accounts.Supporting the BD team on new opportunities; market research, pitching, and helping land the next win.Managing a fast moving pipeline (project values $30K–$100K, 2 month sales cycle) Experience required: Experience in project based sales, account management, or construction/system solutions sales.A background in shopfitting, retail fit out, or an adjacent trade (lighting, flooring, store development) is a big plus.A hands on, autonomous approach, you're comfortable owning outcomes without being micromanaged.Strong phone presence and the ability to build trust fast with time poor project managers.A network in retail or retail adjacent industries.
