Sleep Number mattresses, bases, bedding, and furniture are sold exclusively in over 600 stores nationwide and online, and the company is committed to equal employment opportunity for all team members.Role Description The Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Orlando, FL, responsible for guiding customers through the purchase of Sleep Number products and delivering a high-quality in-store experience. Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting and engaging customers, understanding their sleep needs, and presenting product features and benefits to create personalized solutions. The role involves driving sales performance, meeting or exceeding individual and store goals, and accurately processing orders and financing applications. The Sales Representative will maintain store appearance, support merchandising and demos, and assist with follow-up communication to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term relationships. This position collaborates closely with store leadership and team members to achieve performance targets while adhering to Sleep Number’s customer service and brand standards.Qualifications Strong customer service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to actively listen and identify customer needs.Proven sales aptitude, including consultative selling, closing techniques, and experience meeting performance or revenue targets.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with clear, professional verbal and written communication.Basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems, digital tools, and standard computer applications used in retail environments.Ability to work on-site in Orlando, FL, with a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.Comfort with standing, walking, and engaging with customers throughout the shift, and occasionally moving or adjusting showroom products.Previous retail, hospitality, or customer-facing experience preferred; experience in home furnishings or consumer products is a plus.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or sales training is beneficial.
