You’ll work across customer service, account support, order processing, purchasing, inventory, freight and product information.Work type: Full-time Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Location: On-site in Cheltenham, VIC About the roleYou’ll be the first point of contact for many of our trade customers. You’ll process orders, answer enquiries, follow up payments, coordinate freight and keep customer, product and order records accurate.You’ll work closely with the General Manager, sales team, accounts, warehouse, marketing, suppliers and freight partners. The role suits someone who enjoys variety, detail and clear communication.Key responsibilitiesRespond to customer enquiries by phone, email, showroom and online platforms.Process purchase orders and keep customer, product and order records accurate.Coordinate local and overseas orders with suppliers, factories, freight forwarders and internal teams.Monitor order progress, shipping dates, delivery issues and back orders.Follow up payments, delivery notes and order requirements before dispatch.Work with accounts on credit history, debtor issues, payment plans and credit applications.Keep website listings, product categories and product information accurate.Support purchasing by reviewing stock levels, slow-moving stock and end-of-line items.Assist with supplier communication, samples, product compliance and product updates.Work with marketing on promotions, newsletters, marketplace platforms and product content.Suggest practical process improvements across customer service, purchasing, inventory and online sales.Follow workplace health, safety and quality processes.What we’re looking forExperience in sales support, customer service, administration, order coordination or inventory control.Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry.Clear written and verbal communication skillsGood problem-solving skills and a calm approach with customers.Ability to manage several tasks at once and follow through.Experience with trade customers, suppliers, freight providers or stock systems.Confidence using CRM, ERP, point of sale, e-commerce or marketplace systems.A practical, organised and reliable work style.Professional presentation for a customer-facing showroom environment.Why you’ll like this roleYou’ll have variety in your day.You’ll work with customers and help solve practical issues.You’ll be involved in sales, operations, purchasing and inventory.Your accuracy will directly support better customer service and delivery outcomes.You’ll work with a small team that values clear communication and follow-through.How to applyTo apply, please send your resume and a short cover letter outlining your experience in customer service, order management, inventory, administration or trade account support.
