Apply & track with Apply EdgePosition Summary The Sales Support Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and process compliance of commercial records in Salesforce from qualified lead through approved quote. The role supports Sales by ensuring CRM records are meeting-ready, reporting-ready, and maintained in accordance with established Sales Operations standards.This role is accountable for CRM hygiene and administrative process execution; it is not accountable for sales outcomes, opportunity conversion, revenue attainment, or the salesperson's commercial decisions. Sales remains responsible for customer strategy, opportunity progression, forecasting inputs, and results.Key Responsibilities Maintain CRM hygiene across Leads, Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, and Quotes, including required fields, ownership, relationships, stages, close dates, next steps, products, pricing information, and supporting documentation.Review qualified/MQL Leads for completeness, ensure appropriate assignment and follow established handoff processes between Marketing, Sales, and Sales Operations.Create and maintain Accounts and Contacts; identify duplicate, incomplete, or inconsistent records and coordinate corrections.Review Opportunities for accuracy and completeness based on information provided by the responsible salesperson, and identify stale, missing, or inconsistent information requiring correction.Coordinate and prepare Quotes based on approved sales requirements; verify products, quantities, pricing, commercial terms, required approvals, and supporting documentation before release.Monitor CRM records for adherence to established opportunity stages, required fields, naming conventions, partner relationships, and Sales Operations processes.Proactively follow up with Sales for missing or outdated CRM information and escalate recurring or unresolved hygiene issues to the Sales Operations Manager.Prepare for recurring opportunity review meetings with Sales teams by reviewing pipeline records in advance, identifying data gaps and required updates, and organizing meeting materials.Distribute opportunity review materials to attendees in advance so Sales has visibility to records requiring discussion, correction, or clarification before the meeting.Facilitate or coordinate opportunity hygiene review meetings with Sales teams, document required CRM updates, and follow through to confirm identified corrections are completed.Support pipeline, forecasting, win/loss, and management reporting by maintaining reliable underlying CRM data; responsibility is for data quality, not the sales forecast or commercial outcome.Assist with CRM data cleanup, audits, process documentation, user guidance, and Sales Operations initiatives as assigned.Qualifications & Skills Experience in sales administration, sales operations, CRM administration/support, inside sales support, or a related commercial operations role.Strong working knowledge of Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform; Salesforce experience strongly preferred.Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify incomplete, inconsistent, or inaccurate data.Strong organizational and meeting-preparation skills, including the ability to review large volumes of pipeline information and clearly identify action items.Professional communication skills and confidence working directly with sales representatives and sales leadership to obtain required updates.Ability to enforce established processes consistently while maintaining a service-oriented approach.Strong Excel/reporting skills and comfort working with dashboards, reports, and structured data.Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on outstanding corrections and action items.Success in This Role Success is measured by the quality, completeness, timeliness, and reliability of CRM data; the readiness of opportunity review materials; consistent follow-through on identified hygiene issues; and adherence to Sales Operations processes. Sales performance and opportunity outcomes remain the responsibility of Sales.
