Our client, the global leader in a niche manufacturing space, has an immediate opening for a Sr. Salesforce Solution Analyst. You must be a US Citizen or a current Green Card holder to be considered for this role.*We are currently seeking an experienced Salesforce Solution Analyst with five-plus years’ experience, demonstrable knowledge of Sales, Marketing, and Service Clouds, and strong knowledge of data analytics using Power BI/Tableau to join our team.Key Responsibilities:Salesforce Administration (approximately 70%)• Serve as a key member of the client's Salesforce Engagement Team to maintain strong relationships with Salesforce and Salesforce Partners.• Serve as the primary Salesforce system administrator for the organization's Salesforce org (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Field Service Cloud)• Manage user accounts, profiles, roles, permission sets, and security settings in alignment with organizational policies• Design and implement declarative automation using Flows, Process Builder, Workflow Rules, and Approval Processes to streamline business operations• Configure and maintain custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, list views, and validation rules• Oversee release management, including sandbox environments, change sets, and deployment of new features• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions• Manage and maintain third-party AppExchange integrations and connected apps• Monitor system performance, storage utilization, and license consumption; proactively address issues• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including data dictionaries, process maps, and training materials.• Deliver end-user training and provide ongoing support to maximize platform adoption and utilization.• Evaluate and implement new Salesforce features released during each seasonal update cycleData Engineering & Analytics (approximately 30%)• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest data from Salesforce and other business systems into a centralized data warehouse (Azure Data Fabric)• Develop and maintain clean, reusable data models following dimensional modeling best practices (star/snowflake schemas)• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts to transform, aggregate, and validate data across multiple sources• Build and maintain robust data pipelines.• Create, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reports in BI tools (Tableau, Power BI)• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, and reporting requirements; translate these into reliable data products• Implement and enforce data quality standards, monitoring, and alerting to ensure accuracy and completeness• Utilize Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk API) and tools such as MuleSoft or custom Python integrations to extract and sync data.• Contribute to the organization's data governance strategy, including metadata management and lineage tracking• Perform ad hoc analysis to answer business questions, identify trends, and support strategic decision-makingRequirementsExperience• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience in a production Salesforce environment• Minimum 3+ years of data engineering, analytics engineering, or BI development experience• Proven experience with full-cycle ETL/ELT pipeline development from design through production deployment• Demonstrated experience writing advanced SQL across one or more major database platforms• Experience working in a Waterfall or an Agile/Scrum development environmentTechnical Skills — Salesforce• Proficiency with Salesforce Flows (Screen Flows, Record-Triggered Flows, Scheduled Flows)• Experience with Salesforce data management tools: Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, Workbench• Familiarity with Salesforce APIs, including REST, SOAP, and Bulk API 2.0Technical Skills — Data Engineering & Analytics• Advanced SQL proficiency (window functions, CTEs, query optimization)• Python scripting for data manipulation and pipeline development.• Experience with Azure Data Fabric, Cloud Data Warehouse• Experience with dbt (data build tool) for transformation layer development• Familiarity with data orchestration tools• Proficiency in at least one BI/data visualization tool (Tableau, Power BI)• Understanding data modeling concepts: star schema, normalization, slowly changing dimensions• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)Preferred Qualifications• Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, or additional Salesforce certifications• Experience with Salesforce CRM Analytics/Tableau• Exposure to Salesforce Platform Events, Change Data Capture (CDC), or Streaming API• Familiarity with cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure• Knowledge of data governance frameworks, Master Data Management (MDM), or data catalog tools• Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and deployment pipelines for Salesforce (Salesforce DX, GitHub Actions)• Prior experience in a hybrid IT/business analyst role bridging technical and non-technical stakeholders
