Salesforce Cloud Engineer- Remote- EST time zoneWe are looking for a Salesforce Cloud Engineer to design, build, and optimize solutions on the Salesforce platform. You will work with architects, business analysts, admins, and product owners to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions across Salesforce clouds, and to integrate them with the wider enterprise landscape.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop scalable solutions on Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or others)Build custom functionality using Apex (classes, triggers, batch and queueable jobs), Lightning Web Components (LWC), and AuraConfigure declarative features: Flow, validation rules, permission sets, sharing rules, page layouts, and record typesDesign and implement integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, and middleware (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, etc.)Translate business requirements and user stories into technical designs and solutionsOptimize performance and respect governor limits through efficient SOQL, bulkification, and sound data model designManage data migration, data quality, and data loads using Data Loader, Workbench, and ETL toolsImplement and maintain security best practices (profiles, permission sets, field-level security, OWD, encryption)Own CI/CD and release management using Salesforce DX, Git, and tools such as Copado, Gearset, Flosum, or JenkinsWrite Apex unit tests that meet coverage standards, and support QA and UAT cyclesConduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and platform best practicesTroubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide L3 supportManage sandbox strategy and deployments across Dev, QA, UAT, and ProductionMaintain technical documentation, and mentor junior developers and adminsParticipate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, refinement, retrospectives)Stay current with Salesforce release cycles and recommend enhancementsRequired Skills4+ years of overall software development experience, with 3+ years on the Salesforce platformStrong hands-on experience with Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Lightning Web Components, and FlowSolid understanding of the Salesforce data model, security model, and governor limitsExperience with at least one Salesforce cloud (Sales, Service, or Experience Cloud)Proven experience integrating Salesforce with third-party systems via REST/SOAP APIsWorking knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web standardsExperience with Salesforce DX, Git-based version control, and CI/CD pipelinesFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOpsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsPreferred SkillsSalesforce certifications: Platform Developer I/II, Administrator, Platform App Builder, Integration Architecture DesignerExperience with MuleSoft or other integration platformsExperience with CPQ, Field Service, Health Cloud, or Marketing CloudKnowledge of Einstein, Data Cloud, or AgentforceExperience with DevOps tools (Copado, Gearset, Flosum)Understanding of enterprise architecture patterns and event-driven designExposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for integration and hosting
