Job Description – Salesforce Techno-Functional Consultant (Contract)PositionSalesforce Techno-Functional ConsultantLocation: OnsiteEmployment Type: ContractExperience: 6–8 YearsJob SummaryWe are looking for a hands-on Salesforce Techno-Functional Consultant with strong development expertise who can work closely with business users and the Business Analyst to deliver high-quality Salesforce solutions.The primary responsibility of this role is technical solution design and development. While a Business Analyst will own requirement gathering and BRD preparation, the consultant is expected to actively participate in discussions with business stakeholders to understand the requirements, provide technical inputs, assess feasibility, and implement the solution.The ideal candidate should be capable of independently owning development activities from technical design through deployment while ensuring alignment with business expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Responsibilities (Primary)Design, develop, and customize Salesforce solutions using:ApexLightning Web Components (LWC)SOQL/SOSLTriggersFlowsREST/SOAP APIsDevelop scalable and reusable Salesforce components following best practices.Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.Build and maintain integrations with external applications.Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.Prepare technical design documents and implementation approach.Support deployments across Sandbox and Production environments.Perform unit testing and support SIT/UAT.Techno-Functional ResponsibilitiesWork closely with Business Analysts and business users to understand functional requirements.Participate in requirement discussions and provide technical feasibility assessments.Suggest standard Salesforce capabilities and best practices wherever applicable.Coordinate with business stakeholders to clarify requirements during development.Assist the BA in translating business requirements into technical solutions.Provide effort estimates and implementation timelines.Support UAT, defect resolution, and post-production stabilization.Required Skills6–8 years of Salesforce development experience.Strong hands-on expertise in:ApexLightning Web Components (LWC)TriggersBatch ApexQueueable/Future ClassesSOQL & SOSLFlowsValidation RulesApproval ProcessesExperience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.Good understanding of Salesforce security model, sharing rules, profiles, permission sets, and role hierarchy.Experience with deployment tools such as Change Sets, DevOps Center, GearsetStrong debugging and problem-solving skills.Preferred SkillsSalesforce Platform Developer I certification (Developer II is an added advantage).Experience in Sales Cloud implementation.Experience working with enterprise Salesforce implementations.Real Estate domain experience is required.Key CompetenciesStrong Salesforce development expertise.Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Effective communication with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.Strong ownership and accountability for end-to-end technical delivery.Ability to work independently while collaborating with Business Analysts, QA, and Product Owners.Proactive approach to identifying technical risks and recommending optimal solutions.
