Apply & track with Apply Edge** This is a fully remote role, but requires someone in the Eastern Time Zone.SourceFactor is recruiting a Salesforce Delivery Lead for a client that is an established manufacturing company. This is a techno-functional role for someone who combines strong Salesforce capabilities with business analysis, solution design, and end-to-end project delivery.The ideal candidate can move comfortably between business stakeholders and technical teams—understanding business needs, recommending practical solutions, configuring applications, and coordinating implementation. This is not a dedicated developer position or a narrowly focused Salesforce administrator role. It is an opportunity to take ownership of business-facing technology initiatives and help improve how an organization operates.About the RoleYou will support Salesforce and other non-ERP corporate applications used across commercial and operational functions. The current Salesforce environment includes a custom implementation and an Experience Cloud portal, with additional CRM capabilities anticipated.Working closely with the corporate applications manager, business stakeholders, and external development partners, you will lead initiatives from requirements gathering through implementation and ongoing support. This is an individual contributor role with significant responsibility for solution delivery, stakeholder communication, and process improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesLead discovery sessions with business stakeholders to understand needs, document requirements, and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.Translate business requirements into functional specifications, solution designs, and actionable work for technical partners.Lead Salesforce configuration and coordinate development activities with external development resources.Manage initiatives through the full delivery lifecycle, including definition, design, development, testing, implementation, and support.Collaborate with stakeholders across marketing, operations, HR, and other business functions on Salesforce and other corporate application needs.Develop and maintain process diagrams, configuration documentation, user access documentation, and support materials.Create and execute unit, integration, and regression testing plans, as applicable.Troubleshoot application issues, coordinate resolution, and support knowledge transfer to end users.Ensure solutions follow established IT processes, security requirements, governance standards, and controls.Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and decisions clearly to business and technical stakeholders.Proactively identify improvements that strengthen system reliability, usability, and business performance.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.6+ years of relevant IT experience involving business applications, solution design, configuration, development coordination, testing, and support.4+ years of experience working within a structured software development lifecycle, including Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.Strong hands-on Salesforce capabilities and the ability to connect platform functionality to business requirements.Demonstrated experience leading requirements discussions and working directly with business stakeholders.Strong documentation, analytical, problem-solving, and project delivery skills.Ability to coordinate effectively with developers, vendors, and other technical partners.A process-oriented approach, strong initiative, and the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a small team.Residence in the Eastern Time Zone and willingness to travel occasionally for business needs.Preferred QualificationsApproximately 10 or more years of relevant experience, with the business judgment and stakeholder confidence to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives.Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud, custom Salesforce environments, and CRM implementations.Broader experience supporting enterprise applications beyond Salesforce.Experience in manufacturing, consumer products, or a related industry.
