The Salesforce Developer II position will be responsible for developing code-based solutions within Salesforce platform and will work closely with our Business Analysts and Salesforce Administrators to develop solutions that support business requirements and drive key business decisions. Additionally, the ideal candidate will also possess the skills necessary to deliver scalable, high-performance visual analytics using Tableau and Salesforce data.Primary ResponsibilitiesAnalyze business requirements, translating those requirements into customized solutions using the Salesforce platformDesigning, coding, and implementing Salesforce applicationsDevelop Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components, and Visualforce extending Salesforce capabilities to support our business requirementsWith project leadership, assist in the estimation of work effort and set a realistic schedule for developmentAssist with each release cycle to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and codeDevelop integrations from Salesforce to internal proprietary and third-party servicesTesting the stability and functionality of the applicationTroubleshooting and fixing bugsMaintaining the security and integrity of the application softwareDesign, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and data visualizationsSupport Tableau Server/Cloud deployments, publishing, scheduling, and refreshesJob QualificationsEducation:Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering preferredPlatform Developer II Certification (preferred)Required Experience:4+ years of Salesforce development experienceExperience developing customer-facing interfacesExperience writing Apex classes and triggersStrong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skillsStrong verbal and written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teamsUnderstanding of and experience with Salesforce architecture and APIExperience using GitHub or other version control softwareExperience integrating Salesforce with other applications2+ years of experience developing dashboards using TableauExperience working with Salesforce data and objectsProficiency in SQL for querying and data analysisExperience with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server/CloudWorking Days:Shift and hours to be determined.Working Shift:Shift and hours to be determined.Work Days and Shift are estimates and are subject to change, at any given time, based on job scheduling and/or business levels.
