Salesforce Functional Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Functional Consultant to lead end-to-end functional delivery of Salesforce solutions within complex enterprise environments.The successful candidate will translate business objectives into scalable, user-centred Salesforce solutions and lead functional workstreams from discovery and requirements gathering through solution design, delivery, testing, deployment and adoption.Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate will combine strong Salesforce functional expertise with consulting, delivery leadership and stakeholder-management capability. You should be comfortable operating at enterprise level, challenging assumptions, facilitating senior stakeholder discussions and translating complex business needs into practical Salesforce solutions.Key RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field.Salesforce Certifications, Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Business Analyst, Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Data Cloud and/or Marketing Cloud Certification, Financial Services Cloud Accredited Professional Over 6 - 10+ years’ experience in CRM, Salesforce consulting or digital transformation.Proven experience delivering complex, multi-cloud Salesforce implementations.Strong business analysis and business process optimisation experience.Proven ability to facilitate complex discovery workshops, stakeholder interviews and requirements-gathering sessionsExperience leading Functional Consultants and/or Business Analysts.Experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple delivery workstreams.Strong stakeholder management and executive-level communication skills.Experience with Agile delivery methodologies, including Scrum and/or Kanban.Experience with Jira and/or Azure DevOps for backlog management.Experience with UAT planning, functional testing, defect triage and release readiness.Understanding of Salesforce integrations and enterprise architecture principles.Experience with change management, business readiness, user adoption and enablement.Experience delivering Salesforce/CRM transformation programmes within large enterprise environments.Experience working within consulting or professional services environments Strong understanding of enterprise operating models, governance and regulatory considerations.Ability to lead multi-functional and geographically distributed teams.Strong leadership, coaching and people-management capabilities.Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving and decision-making skills.Highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple priorities under pressure.Key ResponsibilitiesLead Salesforce discovery, requirements gathering, business process analysis and solution design.Act as the primary functional lead and key liaison between business stakeholders, Product Owners, Solution Architects, Developers and delivery leadership.Manage functional backlogs, sprint planning, requirements traceability, risks and dependencies.Develop and quality-assure process maps, requirements catalogues, user stories, acceptance criteria, configuration workbooks and test scenarios.Lead functional delivery from discovery through build, testing, deployment, stabilisation and hypercare.Support UAT preparation, functional QA, defect triage and release readiness.Collaborate with technical, data, integration, security and change teams to ensure solutions are scalable, secure and maintainable.Lead, coach and mentor Functional Consultants and Business Analysts.Drive platform optimisation, process improvement, user adoption and measurable business outcomes.Support transformation roadmaps, proposals, estimates and functional capability development.Strong Salesforce experience across:Sales CloudService CloudExperience CloudMarketing CloudData CloudStrong understanding of:Salesforce data modelsDeclarative automationSalesforce securityReportingIntegrationsPlatform design principlesAbility to translate business requirements into:Process designsUser storiesAcceptance criteriaPrioritised capabilitiesScalable Salesforce solutions
