Salesforce Functional Lead

Location: Toronto, ON – 4 Days Onsite/Week Interview: F2F Interview May Be RequiredJob OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Salesforce Functional Lead to support a large-scale Salesforce CRM platform within a leading Canadian banking environment.

The role will focus on Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, business process transformation, requirements refinement, and delivery of scalable CRM solutions in a highly regulated environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with business stakeholders across Retail, Commercial, Operations, Risk & Compliance, Private Banking, and Advice Centre to understand business needs and refine requirements.Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and walkthroughs to translate business requirements into Epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.Design scalable Salesforce solutions using Financial Services Cloud best practices.Develop and demonstrate Salesforce POCs to validate proposed solutions with stakeholders.Collaborate with architects and technical teams on integrations with legacy systems, core banking platforms, and data warehouses/lakes.Guide functional designers and development teams throughout solution delivery.Work with Product Owners and Technical Leads to manage and prioritize the backlog.Define KPIs, success metrics, and acceptance criteria.Drive process optimization, automation, change management, and user adoption.Required Skills & Experience5+ years of Salesforce Functional Lead experience.3+ years of financial services/banking industry experience.Strong experience delivering enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions in regulated environments.Deep knowledge of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (Sales and/or Service).Strong understanding of banking workflows, customer/product lifecycle, compliance, and data governance.Experience integrating Salesforce with core banking systems and data platforms/data lakes.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including engagement with senior leadership and technical teams.Experience with Agile, Jira, Confluence, and enterprise DevOps practices.Bachelor's, Master's, or post-graduate degree in Engineering or a related field preferred.Ideal Candidate: A Salesforce Functional Lead with strong Financial Services Cloud + Banking + Enterprise Salesforce implementation experience who can effectively bridge business requirements and technical delivery.
