This role requires a strategic thinker with deep Salesforce expertise, strong business acumen and leadership capabilities to drive the successful delivery of a scalable, high-impact Salesforce solution1. Business Engagement and Requirements RefinementCollaborate closely with business stakeholders across Retail, Commercial, Advice Centre, Ops, Risk and Compliance, Private Banking and across other cross functions to understand business process, user journey and refine requirementsLead discovery sessions, workshops and walkthroughs to translate business needs into clearly defined functional requirements in EpicsChallenge assumptions and identify opportunities for process optimization and automation using Salesforce capabilitiesEnsure Alignment between business objectives and proposed Salesforce solutions2. Strategic Solutioning within a Regulated EnvironmentLeverage Salesforce Financial Services cloud industry best practices to design strategic solutions that meet business goalsConfigure Proof of concept on salesforce demo environment to showcase to the business PO or Stakeholders for quick alignment on solution.Present to Architectural Design review board for alignment on solution where building custom componentsAssess dependencies across legacy back end systems and data warehouses to ensure seamless integrationPropose scalable, reusable solutions that align with enterprise architecture, compliance and data governance3. Delivery Execution OversightGuide functional designers within the team to convert refined requirements and solution specifications into actionable user stories for the squad developers, ensuring a clear path for development, configuration and integrationCollaborate with Product Owners and technical leads to manage backlog and prioritize features based on business impactDefine KPI's, success metrics and acceptance criteria tied to the business value4. Continuous Improvement and Stakeholder EnablementDrive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize business processes (reduce manual handoffs, introducing automations wherever possible)Work with Product Owner to advice change management and training content to ensure successful adoptionWhat do you need to succeed?Relevant college, university, or post-graduate degree in Engineering or related education5+ years of experience working as a Functional Lead in Salesforce and 3+ years experience financial industryProven experience delivering Salesforce solutions at scale in a highly regulated, enterprise scale environmentsDeep understanding of banking workflows, customer and product lifecycle and financial complianceStrong experience with Salesforce Financial Services cloud (Sales and/or Service) and integration with core banking systems and data lakesAbility to lead conversations with cross functional teams and engage effectively with executives, senior leaders and technical teamsExperience with Agile delivery, Jira, confluence and DevOps pipelines in enterprise settings
