Salesforce Developer – Financial ServicesVantage Resources are currently recruiting for an experienced Salesforce Developer to join the technology team of a leading Irish financial services organisation.The organisation is investing heavily in its Salesforce platform, which underpins critical customer engagement and operational capabilities. This role will support the delivery of key strategic initiatives, platform enhancements, integrations and regulatory changes, while helping improve platform performance, reduce technical debt and strengthen internal engineering capability.What’s involvedDesign, develop, configure and support Salesforce platform components and solutions.Deliver high-quality technical and functional change across the Salesforce environment.Develop and customise solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components and Salesforce APIs.Work across Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud.Develop integrations and solutions using technologies including Java, JavaScript, JSON, XML, HTML, CSS and SQL.Support deployments, platform configuration and customisation across multiple environments.Implement and automate CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code and configuration management.Develop scripting and tooling to automate build, deployment and operational activities.Monitor platform health, investigate alerts and resolve incidents, with a focus on preventing recurring issues.Work closely with engineering, operations, information security, vendors, product owners, business analysts and development teams.Maintain accurate technical documentation and contribute to continuous platform improvement.Ensure platform implementations meet security, governance and regulatory requirements.What you needStrong commercial experience as a Salesforce Developer.Deep technical expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components and Salesforce APIs.Strong experience across Service Cloud, Sales Cloud and Communities / Experience Cloud.Experience with Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud.Salesforce Platform Developer I and Platform Developer II certifications.Hands-on experience with Kubernetes/container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.Strong scripting and automation capabilities.Experience working across multiple environments and technology stacks.Strong understanding of observability, including metrics, logging and tracing.Good understanding of secure platform design, including identity, secrets management, network segmentation, encryption and patching.Experience with both PaaS and SaaS environments across public and privately hosted platforms.Experience working within regulated or financial services environments.Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.Ability to translate business requirements into reusable, scalable platform solutions and communicate technical trade-offs effectively.The opportunityWork on a strategic Salesforce platform supporting critical business and customer capabilities.Contribute to end-to-end transformation initiatives with tangible operational and customer impact.Gain exposure to modern cloud, DevOps, automation and platform engineering practices.Work within a collaborative and technically focused engineering environment.Help improve platform reliability, scalability and internal engineering capability while reducing reliance on third-party providers.Apply now to discuss this opportunity and find out more about the role.
