Salesforce Technical Architect / Lead Architect – Sales & Service CloudLocation: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – OnsiteContract: Initial 6 MonthsType: ContractRole OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Salesforce Technical Architect / Lead Architect to join a major enterprise Salesforce transformation programme based onsite in Riyadh.This is a senior, client-facing position responsible for defining and owning the end-to-end Salesforce architecture, with a particular focus on Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.You will work directly with senior client stakeholders to understand their business objectives and requirements, translate these into scalable Salesforce solutions, and provide technical leadership to both onsite and offshore delivery teams.The role requires someone who is equally comfortable leading client workshops and architecture discussions as they are providing hands-on technical direction to Salesforce development teams.ResponsibilitiesOwn the end-to-end Salesforce solution and technical architecture across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.Lead architecture, discovery and solution design workshops with senior client stakeholders.Translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure and maintainable Salesforce architectures.Define solution designs covering configuration, customisation, integrations, data and platform architecture.Provide architectural leadership across Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud implementations.Make key technical decisions around Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, APIs and integration patterns.Design and oversee integrations between Salesforce and enterprise applications using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware technologies.Establish Salesforce architecture principles, development standards and technical governance.Review technical designs and ensure solutions follow Salesforce best practices.Identify architectural risks, dependencies and technical debt and provide appropriate solutions.Work closely with functional consultants to ensure business requirements are correctly reflected in the technical architecture.Provide technical direction and leadership to offshore Salesforce development teams.Support development teams through build, testing, deployment and release activities.Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Experience8+ years' Salesforce experience, with significant experience in senior architecture or technical leadership positions.Strong architecture expertise across Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.Proven experience as a Salesforce Technical Architect, Solution Architect or Lead Architect on large enterprise programmes.Strong knowledge of the Salesforce platform, including Apex, LWC, Flow, SOQL and platform configuration.Strong understanding of Salesforce integration architecture, APIs and enterprise integration patterns.Experience designing scalable solutions involving Salesforce and multiple upstream/downstream enterprise systems.Strong understanding of Salesforce security, data models, sharing, performance and platform limitations.Experience defining technical standards, governance and architecture principles.Strong experience leading technical and solution design workshops.Proven ability to engage directly with senior client stakeholders and challenge requirements where appropriate.Experience leading and providing technical direction to offshore/distributed delivery teams.Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.Highly DesirableSalesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or progress towards CTA.Salesforce Application Architect and/or System Architect certifications.Sales Cloud and Service Cloud certifications.Experience with MuleSoft or other enterprise integration platforms.Previous consulting/professional services experience.Experience delivering large-scale Salesforce transformation programmes.Previous experience working in Saudi Arabia or the wider Middle East.Arabic and English language skills are highly desirable.Contract DetailsInitial 6-month contractFull-time onsite in Riyadh, Saudi ArabiaMajor enterprise Salesforce transformation programmePotential for extension depending on programme requirements
