We deliver integrated solutions in salvage, emergency response, risk management, and crisis management, supporting shipowners, operators, insurers, and other stakeholders worldwide.About the RoleAs our Salvage / Crisis Response Manager, you will lead maritime emergency responses, coordinate salvage operations, manage crisis teams, liaise with shipowners, insurers, authorities, and technical specialists, and provide operational oversight during incidents.You will also support drills and training, develop emergency response procedures, and continuously improve our crisis-response capabilities to safeguard people, vessels, assets, and the environment.Key Responsibilities1. Emergency & Crisis Management ⚓• Lead the company's response to maritime emergencies, including groundings, collisions, fires, flooding, and other vessel casualties. • Activate and manage the Crisis Response Team, ensuring clear structure, communication flow, and decision-making. • Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures. • Coordinate with shipowners, P&I clubs, insurers, authorities, and technical teams during incidents.2. Salvage Coordination ⚓• Assess casualty situations and determine appropriate salvage strategies and response approaches. • Liaise with salvage contractors, technical specialists, experts, and classification societies. • Oversee the mobilisation of salvage assets, equipment, and response teams. • Monitor salvage progress and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.3. Operational Oversight ⚓• Maintain situational awareness through real-time monitoring and intelligence. • Provide technical guidance related to risk mitigation, environmental protection, and vessel stability. • Prepare reports, risk assessments, and post-incident reviews.4. Stakeholder & Communication Management ⚓• Serve as a key point of contact during crises for clients, authorities, and partners. • Ensure timely and accurate internal and external communication during emergencies. • Develop and maintain relationships with emergency response partners and maritime service providers.5.
