The organization is committed to igniting digital transformation that creates measurable business impact.Role Description The SAP ABAP Lead is a full-time remote role responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SAP ABAP solutions that support complex business processes across SAP modules. In this role, the SAP ABAP Lead will translate functional requirements into technical specifications, build and optimize custom programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms, and ensure adherence to coding and performance standards. The position includes collaborating closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders, performing code reviews, troubleshooting issues, and driving continuous improvements in existing solutions. The SAP ABAP Lead will also guide junior developers, contribute to solution architecture discussions, and support project lifecycles from design through testing, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.Qualifications Strong understanding of Business Process design and optimization, with the ability to translate business needs into scalable SAP solutions.Excellent Analytical Skills to diagnose issues, evaluate options, and deliver data-driven technical recommendations.Consulting experience, including stakeholder communication, requirement gathering, and solution presentation in a client-focused environment.Hands-on expertise with SAP FICO integration points and familiarity with financial processes in SAP environments.Knowledge of Master Data concepts, governance, and maintenance within SAP systems.Advanced SAP ABAP development skills (reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, OOP, performance tuning, and debugging).Experience with S/4HANA, SAP CDS views, OData services, and modern SAP development tools is highly beneficial.Proven ability to lead and mentor development teams, manage technical deliverables, and uphold coding best practices.Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in remote, cross-functional teams.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
