The role involves working on ABAP WRICEF objects and Embedded Analytics as part of ABAP team, perform quality development, preparation of technical design, and ensuring successful execution of custom development, integrations, and conversion activities.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and develop SAP Embedded Analytics solutions using CDS Views and Virtual Data Models (VDM).
• Create Analytical CDS Views, Consumption Views, Cube Views, and Query Views.
• Develop KPI models, analytical reports, and dashboards using SAP Fiori Analytical Applications.
• Enable real-time operational reporting within SAP S/4HANA using Embedded Analytics capabilities.
• Define technical architecture and ensure alignment with SAP best practices.
• Development of RICEFW objects ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Participate in SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA Brownfield/System Conversion projects and support end-to-end technical conversion activities.
• Drive custom code remediation using ATC and S/4HANA simplification tools.
• Perform SPAU/SPDD analysis and correction during upgrade and system conversion.
• Review technical designs, code quality, and performance optimization.
• Develop & optimize CDS Views, AMDP’s, OData services
• Analyse, remediate, and optimize custom ABAP developments to ensure SAP S/4HANA compatibility, SQL Performance tuning, and HANA- based developments.
• Perform custom code analysis & remediation using SAP ATC (ABAP Test Cockpit), Simplification Item Checks, and Custom Code Migration tools.
• Identify and resolve SAP S/4HANA readiness issues related to data models, obsolete transactions, and deprecated objects.
• Convert classical ABAP programs to SAP HANA-optimized code using modern ABAP techniques and best practices.
• Design, develop, and enhance Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows (RICEF objects).
• Worked on SAP Integration technologies including IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, and Web Services
• Perform technical remediation for SAP SmartForms, SAP Scripts, Adobe Forms, User Exits, BAdIs, Enhancements, Workflows and Z Programs.
• Support data migration activities using SAP Migration Cockpit, LTMOM, BAPIs, IDocs, and custom migration programs.Technical Expertise Requirements
• 8-12 years of SAP ABAP development experience.
• Minimum 2 SAP S/4HANA Conversion/Migration project experience.
• Strong expertise in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA architecture.
• Hands-on experience with ATC, SCI, Simplification Database Checks, and Custom Code Migration.
• Strong experience in CDS Views, AMDP, Open SQL, and SAP HANA optimization.
• Experience with SAP Fiori, Gateway, and OData Services.
• Strong expertise in ABAP Objects, CDS Views, AMDP, and enhancement framework
• Experience in S/4HANA custom code remediation (ATC, simplification items)
• Strong background in integrations (OData, APIs, IDocs, RFCs)
• Excellent stakeholder management, communicationEssential:
• Hands-on SAP BTP, and cloud-based ABAP development, UI5 & Development of Fiori applications.
• Experience in CPI/PI/PO integrations
• Understanding of SAP functional modules (FI, MM, SD, HCM)
• Experience with DevOps tools, ChaRM, and release management
• Certifications in SAP ABAP / S/4HANAADDITIONAL:
