SAP ATTP ABAP Lead Consultant

Are you an experienced SAP ABAP professional with deep expertise in SAP Advanced Track & Trace for Pharmaceuticals (ATTP)? We are looking for a seasoned SAP ATTP ABAP Lead Consultant to lead global implementations, rollouts, enhancements, and support engagements in a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead technical design and ABAP development for SAP ATTP implementations, global rollouts, enhancements, and production support.Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions for pharmaceutical serialization and track-and-trace processes.Develop and maintain custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and integration components.Collaborate with functional consultants, business stakeholders, integration teams, and external partners to deliver end-to-end solutions.Design and manage integrations between SAP ATTP, SAP ERP/S4HANA, packaging systems, warehouse systems, and external serialization platforms.Drive technical delivery, effort estimations, development standards, code reviews, and technical documentation.Troubleshoot complex production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement sustainable performance improvements.Mentor and guide a team of 20+ ABAP developers while coordinating activities across onshore and offshore teams.Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical serialization regulations and industry best practices.Required Skills & Experience✅ 10+ years of overall SAP ABAP experience✅ 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ATTP ABAP implementations, rollouts, and support✅ At least one end-to-end SAP ATTP lifecycle implementation covering:Requirements GatheringSolution DesignDevelopmentTestingDeploymentHypercare & Post-Go-Live Support✅ Strong expertise in:SAP ABAP & Object-Oriented ABAPEnhancements, BADIs, User ExitsDebugging & Performance TuningTechnical Design & Code Reviews✅ Excellent understanding of:SAP ATTP Technical ArchitectureSerialization & Track-and-Trace ProcessesGS1 StandardsAggregation / DisaggregationCommissioning & DecommissioningSerialized Product Tracking✅ Strong integration experience using:IDocsRFCsAIFInterface Monitoring & TracesSAP and Non-SAP System Integrations✅ Expertise in:SAP HANA Database ArchitectureSQL Performance OptimizationQuery Execution & Database TuningRoot Cause Analysis across Application, Database, and Infrastructure LayersPreferred ExperiencePharmaceutical industry serialization projects.Experience with Computer System Validation (CSV), Change Control, and GxP documentation processes.Strong stakeholder management, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Regulatory Knowledge (Highly Preferred)Experience working with global serialization regulations such as:US DSCSAEU FMDBrazil ANVISAChina Serialization RegulationsIndia Serialization RequirementsAdditional advantage if experienced in:EU Tobacco Products Directive (TPD)Digital Tax Stamps (DTS)China Tobacco LegislationSerbia E-Excise Legislation
