SAP Retail - CAR SpecialistFull time opportunity at a leading global consultancy partner with a major SAP S4 Implementation in Dubai.We are looking for a CAR Retail Planning (CAR Merchandise Planning, Assortment Planning and Replenishment Planning) consultantPosition OverviewThe Senior Retail Planning Analyst - Merchandise Planning, Assortment & Replenishment Department will work alongside the SPA Retail Solution Architect and reports to the planning Manager with also dotted line into the Category Management teamKey ResponsibilitiesMerchandise Planning:Develop strategic merchandise plans aligned with financial targets and market trends and seasonsManage open-to-buy (OTB) planning at merchandise category level using SAP Planning for RetailExecute forecast-based requirements planning and monitor consumption patternsAnalyse sales performance, margin optimization, and GMROI across product categoriesCoordinate planning process flow and define key performance indicators for future seasonsAssortment Planning:Optimize product mix and assortment modules for specific store locations and distribution centresManage article-to-store assignments through listing processes and master data generationExecute assortment versioning and adapt assignment periods across multiple planning versionsCoordinate follow-on article replacements and store-specific exclusions within assortment modulesCollaborate with category management on space allocation and presentation stock requirementsReplenishment Planning:Execute automated replenishment planning using SAP Replenishment Planning.Manage dynamic and static target stock determination with safety stock optimizationMonitor demand influencing factors (DIFs) including promotions, seasonality, and local eventsCoordinate multi-echelon replenishment (MER) between stores and distribution centresGenerate and process purchase requisitions, stock transport orders, and purchase ordersEssential previous experience must includeProficiency in SAP Retail modules (MM, SD, LE) and SAP Customer Activity Repository (CAR)Experience with SAP Forecasting and Replenishment or SAP Replenishment Planning solutionsKnowledge of MRP procedures, reorder point planning, and time-phased planningAt least two End-to-End SAP Retail Implementation.Previous experience working for a major SI or consulting partnerUAE or Middle East SAP project preferredNice to have but not mandatory:CAR POSDTA, Pricing and Promotion etc.
