SAP Basis, Security & IAG ConsultantLocation: UAEEmployment Type: Full-TimePackage: 22,000 AED max per month + Schooling supportAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and hands-on SAP Basis, Security & IAG Consultant to take ownership of the day-to-day administration, security and access governance of a complex enterprise SAP landscape.The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a stable, secure and compliant SAP environment while playing a key role in the implementation of SAP Cloud Identity Access Governance (IAG) and driving SAP licence and FUE optimisation.This is a hands-on technical position combining SAP Basis administration, SAP Security, Identity & Access Governance, compliance and project delivery across an S/4HANA, Fiori and BTP landscape.Key ResponsibilitiesSAP Basis & OperationsManage SAP Basis and Security support activities in line with agreed SLAs.Administer SAP S/4HANA / ECC, Fiori, BTP and Solution Manager environments across DEV, QAS and PRD.Support patching, SAP Notes, system refreshes, client copies, backup and recovery activities.Monitor system performance, availability and stability.SAP Security & Access ManagementManage user provisioning and de-provisioning across the SAP landscape.Design, maintain and optimise PFCG roles, including single, composite and derived roles.Manage Fiori authorisations in line with least-privilege principles.Investigate and resolve complex SAP authorisation issues.Support access reviews, audit requirements and compliance controls.SAP IAG & Access GovernanceSupport and lead the implementation of SAP Cloud IAG.Conduct application access and role clean-up across SAP and non-SAP environments.Configure access request and approval workflows, provisioning rules and role/risk ownership.Configure and maintain Segregation of Duties (SOD) rules.Manage access certification campaigns and SOD remediation activities.Support integration across SAP IAS, IPS and BTP.Transport & Change ManagementManage transport and change movement across SAP environments.Work with STMS, CTS+ and ChaRM to ensure appropriate approvals, sequencing and verification.Maintain appropriate change-control documentation and audit evidence.Monitoring & ComplianceGenerate and review EarlyWatch Alert (EWA) reports.Prioritise and resolve critical system findings.Maintain an audit-ready SAP environment and support internal and external audit activities.SAP Licensing & FUE OptimisationMonitor SAP licence and Full Use Equivalent (FUE) consumption against entitlement.Review user classifications and identify opportunities for licence optimisation.Reclaim dormant, duplicate and unnecessary user accounts.Run and support USMM / LAW licence measurement activities.Proactively identify potential licence over-utilisation and compliance risks.Skills & ExperienceThe ideal candidate will have:Strong hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration.Strong knowledge of SAP Security and Authorisations.Experience designing and maintaining PFCG roles.Practical experience with SAP Cloud IAG and/or SAP GRC Access Control.Strong understanding of SOD, access governance and access certification.Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA / ECC environments.Experience with SAP Fiori and BTP.Knowledge of IAS / IPS integration.Experience with STMS, CTS+ and/or ChaRM.Understanding of SAP licence management, FUE, USMM and LAW.Strong understanding of audit, compliance and change-control requirements.Ability to combine hands-on technical support with project-based delivery.The OpportunityThis is an excellent opportunity for an SAP professional who enjoys taking genuine technical ownership rather than operating within a narrowly defined support function.You will work across SAP Basis, Security, IAG, governance and licensing, with the opportunity to play a key role in strengthening and modernising an enterprise SAP environment.Candidates with a strong combination of SAP Basis + SAP Security + IAG/GRC experience are particularly encouraged to apply.
