SAP FICO Senior Consultant

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced SAP R2R Senior Consultant to support and optimize end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) processes across a complex, multi-country SAP environment. This role will play a key part in SAP Finance operations, S/4HANA transformation initiatives, business process improvement, and managed service provider (MSP) governance.The successful candidate will work closely with Finance, Tax, Treasury, Procurement, and regional/global IT teams to design scalable SAP solutions, drive continuous improvement, and ensure stable daily operations across multiple legal entities and geographies.Key ResponsibilitiesSAP R2R Functional Support & DeliveryServe as the primary functional contact for SAP R2R-related topics, including incident resolution, enhancements, projects, and process improvements.Analyze business requirements and conduct fit-gap assessments to design effective SAP Finance solutions.Translate business requirements into functional specifications for system configuration, development, interfaces, reports, and forms.Configure and support SAP FI/CO processes while ensuring alignment with business requirements and global standards.Review and validate solution designs, configurations, and deliverables produced by external vendors or MSP partners.Troubleshoot complex business and system issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive sustainable resolutions.Financial Process OwnershipSupport and optimize the following SAP Finance areas:Financial Accounting (FI)General Ledger (GL)Accounts Payable (AP)Accounts Receivable (AR)Asset Accounting (AA)Bank AccountingIntercompany AccountingFinancial Close & Consolidation SupportControlling (CO)Cost Center AccountingProfit Center AccountingInternal OrdersAllocations & AssessmentsProfitability Analysis (CO-PA)Cost Management and ReportingS/4HANA Transformation & Continuous ImprovementParticipate in SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, rollout, and upgrade projects.Support data migration, reconciliation, testing, cutover planning, and post-go-live stabilization activities.Leverage SAP S/4HANA capabilities including:Universal JournalBusiness PartnerNew Asset AccountingSAP FioriDrive process harmonization, automation, and standardization across business units and regions.Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational efficiency, financial controls, and user experience.Stakeholder & Vendor ManagementCollaborate closely with Finance, Tax, Treasury, Supply Chain, and business stakeholders.Coordinate with MSP partners for ticket management, enhancement delivery, prioritization, and issue escalation.Monitor service levels, delivery quality, and project timelines.Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering sessions, solution reviews, and user training.Governance & ComplianceEnsure all SAP solutions and process changes comply with internal controls, audit requirements, and corporate governance standards.Support month-end close, year-end close, external audits, and compliance initiatives.Maintain complete and accurate documentation for configurations, testing, and support processes.QualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline.8+ years of SAP FI/CO consulting experience, including both project implementation and application support.Strong knowledge of end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.Participation in at least one SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, or rollout project.Strong functional expertise in:General LedgerAccounts PayableAccounts ReceivableAsset AccountingCost Center AccountingProfit Center AccountingIntercompany TransactionsFinancial ReportingExperience integrating SAP FI/CO with MM, SD, Procurement, Manufacturing, Banking, and Tax modules.Experience managing vendors, AMS teams, or Managed Service Providers (MSP).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Professional communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
