SAP Finance Functional Consultant

Role SummarySeeking an experienced SAP Finance Functional Consultant to lead and support finance transformation initiatives through the design, configuration, and optimization of SAP Finance solutions. The role will work closely with business stakeholders to streamline financial processes, ensure regulatory compliance, improve financial reporting, and enable efficient financial operations across the organization.Key Responsibilities• Gather and analyze business requirements related to finance and accounting processes.• Design, configure, and support SAP Finance solutions aligned with business objectives.• Support end-to-end implementation of SAP Finance processes, including Record-to-Report (R2R).• Configure and optimize General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Banking, and Financial Closing processes.• Collaborate with business users to identify process improvement opportunities and recommend SAP best practices.• Conduct fit-gap analysis and prepare functional specifications for system enhancements.• Support integration between finance and other SAP modules such as MM, SD, PM, and Project Systems.• Participate in testing activities including SIT, UAT, and defect resolution.• Support data migration, reconciliation, and financial validation activities.• Develop user documentation and deliver training to business users.• Assist in period-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial process optimization.• Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement recommendations.Required Skills• SAP FI• SAP S/4HANA Finance• General Ledger Accounting• Accounts Payable (AP)• Accounts Receivable (AR)• Asset Accounting• Bank Accounting• Financial Closing & Reporting• Cost Center Accounting• Profit Center Accounting• Financial Process Design• Business Process Analysis• Functional Configuration• Stakeholder ManagementPreferred Skills• SAP CO• SAP Group Reporting• SAP Central Finance• Costing & Profitability Analysis• Fixed Asset Management• Budgeting & Financial Planning• Tax Management• Financial Reporting & Analytics• Integration with MM, SD, and Project Systems• Data Migration & ReconciliationExperience Required• 8+ years of SAP Finance consulting experience.• Strong experience in SAP FI and SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations.• Experience in at least one end-to-end SAP implementation project.• Hands-on experience in finance process configuration, testing, and deployment.• Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting processes.• Experience working with global finance teams and business stakeholders.• Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, engineering, or asset-intensive industries is preferred.Educational Qualifications• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline.Preferred Certifications• SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting Certification• Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, ACCA, or equivalent finance qualification (Preferred)
