This position is with one of our clients in Australia who is actively hiring candidates to expand their teams.Job title: SAP Functional Consultant – Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Procurement (MM) & Logistics (SD)Location: Melbourne, AustraliaIndustry: UtilitiesRole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Consultant with 6+ years of SAP consulting experience to provide functional support, solution design and delivery across a large SAP ECC 6.0 ERP environment.The successful candidate will support SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Procurement (MM) and Logistics (SD) business processes, delivering production support, system enhancements and project initiatives. Working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams, you will ensure SAP solutions remain stable, scalable and aligned with business requirements and best practices.________________________________________Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Support & Continuous Improvement• Provide functional production support across SAP EAM (Plant Maintenance), MM and SD modules.• Analyse and resolve incidents, defects and service requests.• Perform root cause analysis and recommend permanent solutions.• Work with developers, Basis, Security and Integration teams to resolve complex issues.• Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimisation.________________________________________Functional Consulting & Project Delivery• Gather and analyse business requirements.• Configure SAP standard functionality where appropriate.• Prepare functional specifications for enhancements and developments.• Conduct impact assessments for business changes.• Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).• Develop functional documentation and support end-user knowledge transfer.________________________________________Functional ResponsibilitiesSAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)• Work Order Management• Maintenance Notifications• Preventive and Corrective Maintenance• Equipment and Functional Locations• Maintenance Planning and Scheduling• Technical Objects and Asset Master Data• Integration with Procurement, Inventory and FinanceSAP Materials Management (MM)• Source-to-Pay processes• Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders• Goods Receipt and Inventory Management• Invoice Verification• Service Procurement• Contracts and Outline Agreements• Vendor Master Data• Release Strategies and Approval WorkflowsSAP Sales & Distribution (SD)• Order-to-Cash processes• Sales Order Management• Delivery Processing• Billing and Invoicing• Customer Master Data________________________________________Stakeholder Engagement• Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and recommend SAP best practice solutions.• Work closely with developers, Basis, Security and Integration teams.• Support workshops, testing activities and production deployments.• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and external vendors.• Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.________________________________________Essential Skills & Experience• Minimum 6 years' SAP functional consulting experience.• Strong hands-on experience in:o SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM/PM)o SAP Materials Management (MM)o SAP Sales & Distribution (SD)• Experience supporting SAP ECC 6.0 production environments.• Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.• Experience preparing functional specifications and supporting SAP enhancements.• Good understanding of end-to-end business processes and SAP integration.• Experience with change management, transports and testing activities.• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.________________________________________Desirable Experience• SAP Certification in PM/EAM, MM or SD.• Experience within Utilities, Energy or Infrastructure industries.• Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.• Experience working across both BAU support and project delivery.Note: Applicants for employment in Australia should possess work authorization which does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa.
