SAP Integration Consultant

We work with companies across the UAE and international markets, connecting specialist talent with opportunities across areas including AI, robotics, autonomous systems, defence, aerospace, software and advanced engineering.About the RoleWe are looking for a Senior SAP Integration Consultant to join a leading technology organisation in Abu Dhabi.This role would be particularly well suited to someone coming from an SAP consulting, technology consulting or systems integration background, with experience delivering complex integration projects across multiple client or enterprise environments.You will be responsible for designing, building and governing integrations across an enterprise SAP landscape, connecting SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors and other systems with external applications and emerging AI platforms.The role combines deep SAP integration expertise with modern API architecture, security and new technologies including agentic AI and Model Context Protocol (MCP).

Key Responsibilities

Design, build and maintain integrations in SAP Integration Suite / Cloud Integration (CPI) and API Management, including iFlows, API Proxies, and OData services across SAP and non-SAP systems.Build secure integrations with SAP S/4HANA and SuccessFactors.Develop custom APIs using CDS-based OData services, RFC/BAPI or SAP RAP.Work with SAP API Management, including authentication, access policies, rate limiting and API governance.Collaborate directly with technical, business and platform teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable integration solutions.Design secure integration patterns for external applications and AI-enabled platforms.Support architecture decisions around API-based integration and emerging MCP / agentic AI patterns.Troubleshoot production integration flows and ensure appropriate monitoring and traceability.Produce clear technical and architecture documentation.

Job Requirements

6+ years of experience in SAP integration.Strong background within SAP consulting, technology consulting, systems integration or complex enterprise implementation environments.Hands-on experience with SAP Integration Suite / CPI.Strong experience with SAP API Management and OData.Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA with internal and external systems.Knowledge of SAP BTP, including OAuth2, XSUAA, Destination services or principal propagation.Experience designing and delivering APIs and integrations for non-SAP applications.Strong stakeholder-facing and requirements-gathering experience.Ability to remain technically hands-on while advising stakeholders on integration architecture and best practices.Nice to Have:SAP SuccessFactors integration experience via Data/APIs.Experience with custom CDS views, RFC/BAPI wrappers or SAP RAP.Exposure to agentic AI, LLM integrations or MCP.SAP Event Mesh or API-centric integration experience.SAP Integration Suite certification or equivalent.
