Title – SAP PLM LeadDuration – 12+ months with possibility of extension. Location: RemotePay Range - $90-95/hr. on W2Technical ExpertiseExperience Required12+ years of SAP PLM and Product Engineering experience with at least:· 5+ years in SAP S/4HANA Product Lifecycle Management· 5+ years implementing Engineering Change Management (ECM)· Multiple end-to-end SAP PLM and Teamcenter integration projects· Deep expertise in Engineering Change Requests (ECR), Engineering Change Orders (ECO), and Engineering Change Notices (ECN)· Experience supporting large-scale manufacturing, aerospace, industrial products, automotive, or high-tech environments· Ability to travel on an as needed basis, minimally once per month to client headquarters.Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Engineering Change Management (ECM) expert to lead the design, impact analysis, implementation, and governance of engineering change processes across Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Material Master, BOM Management, and Manufacturing Operations.The successful candidate will possess hands-on experience implementing SAP S/4HANA Engineering Change Management capabilities, including ECR/ECO/ECN processes, Engineering Records, Change Masters, Document Management, Material Master governance, and the conversion of Engineering Bills of Material (eBOM) to Manufacturing Bills of Material (mBOM) and have the ability to advise the client on SAP and industry best practices with regard to engineering change processes.This role will also advise and manage a team of resources; both client and SI in documenting and configuring SAP as needed and as required oversee the generation of FDS/TDS, CDD.The role requires a working knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter integration and cross-functional collaboration between Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Procurement, and Master Data Management organizations.Key ResponsibilitiesEngineering Change Management· Lead SAP S/4HANA ECM solution design and implementation.· Guide Client in defining and implementing:o Engineering Change Requests (ECR), Engineering Change Orders (ECO) & Engineering Change Notices (ECN)o Change Records & Change Masterso Engineering Records· Gather requirements that support the development of a governance and approval workflow for engineering changes.· Guide Client in establishing change control procedures to assess engineering change impacts for:o Materials, BOMs, Routings, Documentation & Product Structures· Guide Client in establishing effectivity management including:o Date effectivity, Serial number effectivity, Lot effectivity & Revision controlImpact AnalysisGuide Client in establishing requirements and capabilities to perform comprehensive impact assessments of engineering changes across:· Product Master Data, Bill of Materials,· Manufacturing Master Data· Supply ChaineBOM to mBOM Transformation· Facilitate engineering-to-manufacturing data governance process discussions.· Lead eBOM to mBOM discussions.Teamcenter IntegrationHave a working knowledge of the following:· Material and eBOM generation processes in Teamcenter· Deployment of Teamcenter Gateway, SAP Integration Suite & Middleware solutions· Integration, synchronization, and master data governance issues.Product Lifecycle Management· Facilitate process harmonization across global engineering organizations.---SAP Functional LeadershipLead business process transformation processes for:· Conduct detail design sessions.· Lead the development & generation of:o Business Requirements Documentso Functional Design Specificationso Configuration Design Documentso Solution Architecture Documents· Advice & Support:o Configurationo Testingo Cutovero HypercareRequired SAP ExpertiseSAP Modules· SAP S/4HANA PLM· SAP Engineering Change Management· SAP Classification System· SAP Material Master· SAP BOM ManagementEngineering Objects· Change Records· Change Masters· Engineering Records· Materials· BOMs---Teamcenter Knowledge RequirementsWorking knowledge of:· Siemens Teamcenter Release Processes, Change Management processes & Teamcenter-SAP Integration FrameworksRequired SkillsFunctional Skills· Engineering Change Governance· Configuration Management· Revision Management· Product Data Management· Master Data Governance· BOM GovernancePreferred Qualifications· SAP PLM Certification· SAP S/4HANA Certification· Siemens Teamcenter Certification· Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Aerospace)
