SAP Project Manager

Job Title: SAP Project ManagerLocation: Dubai Role Summary:The SAP Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of SAP implementation or transformation projects (preferably S/4HANA). This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, vendor coordination, and adherence to SAP Activate or equivalent methodologies to ensure projects are delivered within scope, timeline, and budget.Key Responsibilities:Project Leadership & DeliveryLead end‑to‑end SAP projects including blueprinting, realization, testing, deployment, and hypercareEnsure timely delivery within budget and quality standardsPrepare and maintain project plans, schedules, RAID logs, and status reportsManage project governance, steering committees, sign‑offs, and documentationStakeholder & Team ManagementCoordinate with business stakeholders, IT leadership, functional consultants, developers, and integration teams.Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and solution design reviewsManage internal and external resources (partners, vendors, contractors)Risk, Issue & Change ManagementIdentify risks early and implement mitigation strategiesEnsure compliance with PMO processes and best practicesSAP Expertise:Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA modules (FI, MM, SD, PP, EWM, HR, etc.)Understanding of cross‑functional integration, data migration, interfaces, custom developments, and testing cyclesExperience with SAP Activate methodology or ASAPGovernance & ReportingProvide weekly project status updates to CIO/IT Director/Steering CommitteeTrack KPIs, deliverables, and team performanceEnsure proper documentation: BRD, FSD, SDD, test scripts, cutover plans, SOPsRequired Skills & Experience:10+ years of SAP experience, including 4–6 years in Project/Program ManagementMinimum 2 full‑cycle SAP implementations (preferably S/4HANA)Strong knowledge of PM methodologies (PMP/Prince2 certification preferred)Excellent stakeholder communication, conflict resolution, and presentation skillsHands‑on experience with project tools (JIRA, MS Project, Azure DevOps, or similar)Proven ability to manage multi‑module, multi‑vendor SAP landscapesPreferred QualificationsSAP S/4HANA certification or knowledge of RISE with SAP implementationsIndustry experience in manufacturing, construction, real estate, or logisticsUnderstanding of cloud hosting, integration platforms, and Industry 4.0 technologiesAbility to manage transformation programs involving SAP + third‑party systems
