SAP Project Manager

SAP Project Manager Whitehall Resources currently require an experienced SAP Project Manager. **Please note 5 Days onsite is essential in Bangalore**Key Responsibilities• Own end-to-end delivery of the SAP project, from planning through go-live and hypercare, ensuring scope, timeline, budget, and quality targets are met.• Develop and maintain the overall project plan, resourcing plan, and RAID log (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies).• Lead and coordinate cross-functional SAP teams, functional consultants, technical/ABAP resources, Basis, integration, and testing teams, ensuring alignment across all workstreams.• Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, sponsors, and key users, translating business requirements into actionable project deliverables.• Chair steering committee meetings and project governance forums, providing clear, accurate status reporting to senior stakeholders and leadership.• Proactively identify, escalate, and resolve project risks and issues before they impact delivery.• Manage project budget, resourcing, and vendor/third-party relationships where applicable.• Drive and oversee testing phases (SIT, UAT) and cutover/go-live planning, ensuring readiness across business and technical teams.• Ensure adherence to SAP Activate (or equivalent) project methodology and internal governance/compliance standards.• Manage change control, scope changes, and their impact on timeline and budget.• Support organizational change management and training activities to ensure business readiness for go-live.• Provide day-to-day, on-the-ground leadership from the Bangalore office — this is not a remote-coordination role.Key Skills & Experience Required• Proven track record as a Project Manager on full-cycle SAP implementation or rollout programs, ideally including S/4HANA.• Strong working knowledge of SAP modules and how functional and technical workstreams interconnect (e.g., SD, MM, FI/CO, PP, or relevant modules to the program).• Solid understanding of SAP project methodology (SAP Activate, ASAP, or equivalent) and rollout phases from blueprint through hypercare.• Demonstrated experience managing multi-disciplinary teams, including onshore/offshore or vendor resources.• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate confidently with both senior business sponsors and technical delivery teams.• Excellent risk, issue, and budget management skills, with a track record of keeping projects on track and proactively resolving blockers.• Strong communication and reporting skills, clear, concise, and confident presenting to steering committees and leadership.• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred.• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business, IT, Engineering, or similar); MBA a plus.• Willingness and ability to work on-site in Bangalore five days a week for the duration of the projec
