SAP Project ManagerRole SummaryThe SAP Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering SAP implementation projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, scope, budget, timeline, and quality requirements. The role manages cross-functional teams, system integrators, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors throughout the project lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesProject LeadershipLead end-to-end SAP implementation and transformation projects.Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, resource plans, and governance processes.Manage project scope, schedule, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.Ensure successful execution across all project phases.Stakeholder ManagementAct as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, SAP implementation partners, and IT teams.Facilitate project steering committee, status meetings, and executive reporting.Drive decision-making and issue resolution with functional and technical teams.Vendor & Resource ManagementManage SAP implementation partners, consultants, and third-party vendors.Track vendor deliverables and adherence to contractual commitments.Coordinate internal and external project resources.Governance & Risk ManagementEstablish project governance, reporting, RAID management, and project controls.Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.Ensure compliance with organizational standards and project management methodologies.Testing & DeploymentOversee SIT, UAT, cutover planning, and go-live readiness activities.Coordinate business readiness, training, and change management efforts.Support stabilization and hypercare activities post go-live.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred.Minimum 7-10 years of IT project management experience.Experience managing at least 1-3 full-cycle SAP implementations.Strong understanding of IT and SAP project methodologies.Experience working with system integrator partners.
