The ideal candidate will possess strong project management expertise, stakeholder management skills, and hands-on experience managing end-to-end SAP projects within complex enterprise environments.The SAP Project Manager will be responsible for planning, execution, governance, budget management, risk mitigation, and successful delivery of SAP projects while ensuring alignment with business objectives and organizational standards.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership & DeliveryLead end-to-end SAP implementation, enhancement, migration, and rollout projects.Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.Develop and manage project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and budgets.Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.Manage project governance, steering committee meetings, and executive reporting.Drive issue resolution and escalation management throughout the project lifecycle.Stakeholder ManagementPartner with business leaders, process owners, and IT stakeholders to align project objectives.Act as the primary point of contact between business teams, implementation partners, and SAP consultants.Facilitate workshops and progress review meetings with key stakeholders.Establish strong relationships with senior management and project sponsors.SAP Program & Resource ManagementManage cross-functional SAP teams including Functional Consultants, Technical Consultants, Architects, Integration Specialists, and external vendors.Coordinate project resources across multiple workstreams.Monitor team performance and ensure effective collaboration among stakeholders.Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members.Risk, Budget & Quality ManagementIdentify project risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial tracking.Monitor project quality and compliance with project governance standards.Ensure adherence to organizational methodologies and SAP best practices.Testing, Cutover & Go-Live ManagementOversee:Integration TestingUser Acceptance Testing (UAT)Cutover PlanningData Migration ActivitiesGo-Live Readiness AssessmentsHypercare SupportEnsure a smooth transition from project implementation to support operations.Change Management & AdoptionSupport organizational change management activities.Develop communication plans to ensure stakeholder engagement.Coordinate end-user training and business readiness initiatives.Drive user adoption and realization of business benefits.Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline.Minimum 10 years of overall IT experience.Minimum 5 years of SAP Project Management experience.Proven experience delivering full-cycle SAP implementation projects.Strong understanding of SAP project methodologies, governance, and delivery frameworks.Experience managing projects involving:SAP S/4HANASAP ECCSAP SDSAP MMSAP FICOSAP PPSAP WM/EWMSAP SuccessFactors (advantageous)Technical SkillsStrong knowledge of SAP business processes and enterprise application landscapes.Experience managing:SAP ImplementationsSAP RolloutsSAP MigrationsSAP UpgradesSAP Support TransitionsFamiliarity with SAP Activate Methodology.Understanding of integrations with third-party applications and middleware platforms.Knowledge of cloud-based SAP solutions is an added advantage.Preferred CertificationsPMP (Project Management Professional)PRINCE2 PractitionerSAP Activate Project Manager CertificationAgile / Scrum CertificationSAP S/4HANA Project ExperienceSoft SkillsExcellent leadership and team management capabilities.Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills.Exceptional communication and presentation skills.Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution abilities.Strategic thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to thrive in fast-paced and dynamic environments.Preferred ExperienceExperience managing regional or global SAP transformation programs.Experience working with multinational organizations.Exposure to manufacturing, consumer goods, retail, pharmaceutical, or chemical industries.Experience managing projects with distributed teams across multiple countries.
